This will re-assure her & build her confidence. It usually works as it acts like a safety net. Encourage her but let her go at her own pace. You may regret teaching her though!! Good luck!

Daisy has been to the vets today with an itchy ear...just the one! So I have had to make the chocolate cake. She was soooooo good. Had two biscuits from Noella for being a poppet. That's Daisydog, not me. Such a different girl to six months ago. Have been telling lots of people about the benefits of ttouch. Excellent.

Sadly due a change of circumstances Tess has been returned today. She has lived with the family for two years and they are heartbroken at having to return her. They have asked us to give the following comments: Tess is the PERFECT pet, she is fabulous with children, loves to play and walks well with other dogs. Fully housetrained and can be left on her own during the day. She is very adaptable and her owner feels she will settle into a new home very quickly. Tess has brought an immense amoount of happiness to the family and everyone she has met and they will all miss her terribly.

Just to let all know our Sheena had a mishap on Thursday was not sure until a search revealed it was Sheena , cannot explain but blood everywhere, so off to the Vets. Well she has taken to her mishap well and her back paw bandaged (thought after her earlier problems she would try and rip it off) Back at the vets on Monday. But I have to admit it didn't stop here Her and the other two doing a runner and John going after them in the car. Sylv.

Chloe is a fantastic little (big) girl who has a lot of fun and affection in her life, she also has a spoon fetish and likes to carry things and put them in her bed (which isn't so good when you are putting up a garden fence and she runs off with the mallet :-)). She still cant figure out stairs either so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I still say she is a beautiful little girl who is perfect for us x

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

I am so very sorry to read the sad news about Finn, it is heartbreaking when it is time for them to cross over to rainbow bridge, everyone who adopts a greyhound and gives them a happy retirement is doing such a wonderful thing, giving a chance of a new life after racing, I know this does not make up for the loss, I still shed tears for my wonderful old boy Charlie who we sadly lost last year but I do feel some comfort that we were able to give him a happy life in which he was much loved, everytime I hear of a passing to rainbow bridge it brings tears to my eyes, but we have now rehomed Bertie who has brought us so much happieness, Greyhounds really are the most wonderful animals ever. Finn has made such an impact on peoples lives, just to read about his history and the amazing job daybreaks does and the lives that it changes.
