Sad for Bonnie that she was too interested in the cats, because in every other way she is such a lovely girl. X

Thanks for the tip about ears i will have to try it. A big hi to my sister tinker. Went over brankley pastures tonight and we had to go through a dog stile well flashy did it no problem but when it came to my turn i froze and my harness nearly came over my head and no matter how many come on ripple you can do it they said my legs just wouldn't work so the fat bloke (bless him) came back and picked me up like a baby (one minute i was frozen to the spot and the next i was in his arms and carried through the gate looking so cute, georgous and floppy) don't think flashy was impressed as he just walked on. After that we walked over the fields and back to the car. I think this year from santa i will ask for roller skates as boy does this family like their walks. I think i will have to find my paper work out that i came with and show them as i'm sure it says two 20mins walk a day. I keep hearing the name cromford canal and what a lovely walk it looks and we will have to go there one day with the dogs, all i can say is does anyone have a number for the taxi to get me back to the car park.

  • Harvey

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Thanks for all the comments..... Harvey was diagnosed with renal failure over 13 months ago and his body just gave out on him. He was such a big happy boy all the way except for the last few days where he went down hill rapidly. It was the right thing for us to do to put him to sleep but he is leaving a huge hole in myself and Peters life. When Harvey came to us it took about 8 months to bring the dog out of him. He was full of life and just a big happy boy who loved everything and everyone. He loved life to the full and had brought so much joy to myself and Peter. It was an honour to have him in our lives and will never be forgotten. So far his sister Lulu is coping well..... It is as if she knew he was sick and his time had come. She is currently on the sofa with a grin on her face fast asleep as I type..... Run free my big boy ....

So sorry Pam - was only thinking about you and Stan today - I remembered you telling me about having to dodge in and out of bushes to stop him meeting any other dogs! He had a fantastic home with you - and a life packed full of love is the most important thing x
