Daisy is making lots of progress. Fantastic. So heres a word of encouragement to all the lovely new mums and dads to think seriously about taking their new grey to training. Daisy actually went into a garden centre with me yesterday and helped me choose the straw for the chickens! And today, well heavens today I met my chum and her labradoodle puppy who Daisy happily walked with. It is so wonderful to see Daisy begin to overcome her nervousness in the big outside world. And there is a BIG improvement since she has been listening to Julie and watching all the lovely greys on saturday mornings. She has made friends with Lola and Lena and even wagged her tail at them. How good is that! xx

Norah
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I have to tell you all that it was not an easy decision. Nora is a lovely dog who was let down by us unable to meet her needs. She needed more attention than we could provide through being out in the day. We had her best interests at heart but also had to think about Cherrypie who has become subdued lately. I know Ruth and everyone else who does such a great job at Daybreaks, will find her a new home. Thank you x

Hi Anne, we used to have a Renault Megane hatchback (2005 model) we always took our two greyhounds in it no problem. Often the dogs will pick each other and it can be as much about the personalities as the sexes. If you take Bugsy to the kennels they can meet up and you can start to see how they get on. Keep us posted.

LOUIS came to the Sutton walk at the weekend.I hope his mum will put a new picture on the website of him.He is totally unrecognisable. His coat is amazing, shinny, lush and thick. He has put weight on and looks a picture of health. It is just wonderful what a few weeks of TLC can do and must make all the hard work down at the kennels worthwhile.Louis also seems much more confident and happily enjoyed lots of cuddles. We wont mention the bike though!!

Dexter

Dexter is settling in really well, loving his walks and cuddles. He is following us everywhere at the moment, but im sure he will not do it so much when he feels more secure. He is very funny, and so nosy, he is into everything and just loves to explore. He has been on a walk today with his sister Bridget and Murphy the Greyhound, we passed a few other breeds and he wasnt sure, was very strong on the lead, but he got better the more we passed. All in all, hes been a good boy and we look forward to having him in our family. Thankyou again for looking after him xx
