Firstly, I would like to send Ruth healing hugs and thoughts as she has been unwell again recently. It's about time her health issues were sorted once and for all. She has suffered for far to long. I know how frustrated she gets when she can't come to the kennels. Thinking of her. X Thanks to our Wednesday walkers, Denise, Bella, Chris and our college placement Annie for all their help today, much appreciated (especially as I had a nasty fall yesterday leaving me battered and bruised and sore)! Denise and Bella cleaned and sorted the chicken house. I was very bemused when I saw Denise walking past the office with a chicken under her arm, swiftly followed by two more. They were put in the treatment room whilst their house was cleaned. I didn't realise how much came out of their rears until today. Huge thanks to Bella for disposing of the evidence of them being there, you would never know!!! A quiet day for visitors, we did have bedding donations, thanks for those. Sadly, Flower was returned this afternoon, she has been struggling with association with other breeds. Her owners were, very understably upset at bringing her back, we will work with her to help with her anxiety. Well, as ever stay safe and well all.

Buddy is with me at the moment. He's such a lovely boy and a pleasure to have staying with me. He's a perfect guest. Your going to have a lovely boy . Buddy is so easy to have around. He sleeps all night loves his food clean in the house and loves short walks. Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

Ruth took Jess off to the vets this morning for her neutering operation. However a short while later we received a call from the vets to say unfortunately the vet had been taken ill and had to cancel all his operations for today. I went to collect her and when I arrived she was happily wandering around the vets waiting room enjoying herself and loving all the fuss and attention from the staff. :)) Xxx Tiff went off to her new home. :)) So very happy for her, she is a gorgeous, happy girl. :)) Norman took Joe to the park, he had a lovely time. :)) He has a viewing tomorrow...keeping everything crossed for him. He is a really good boy and so affectionate. Xxx Thanks so much to everyone for all your help today. :)) I was able to join in with the afternoon walk and have the pleasure of taking Joe and Pops for a stroll. They both walk beautifully. Xxx Sadly Ruth isn't too well at the moment, she was taken ill this afternoon and has found herself having to spend a night in hospital. Sending her lots of love and hoping she will soon be feeling better. Xxxx Xxx

Tiff went home today. :)) She stayed with Hannah and her family for a few days after she was neutered....when she saw Hannah again today she was so very happy and very excited! :)) Wishing her a wonderful new life. Xxx

We are so grateful to everyone who has taken Mikey out and about. All the extra attention and socialisation is great for him. 🙂 Fingers crossed his forever home is getting closer and he will be waiting for Santa to visit him in his own home! :)) Xxx

Joey had his neuterimg operation today. He was no trouble at all in the car, jumped in and sat down. :)) He was a very good boy at the vets and was very wobbly when I picked him up. However he enjoyed his dinner and by the time I went home he was much happier. :)) Joey is a lovely lad and will be a fabulous friend and companion. 🙂 Sending him my cuddle tonight. Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

Apologies for not posting an update yesterday but it was such a busy day! To start the day I homed the gorgeous Nico, then had three poorly paws in succession to look at. Whilst I was doing this, Denise set to work blitzing the kitchen run and gutters! We unloaded the van with all the things from the Christmas Fayre I’d had a stall at the day before and then we set to work on rearranging the kennels…. So sorry Kate you won’t recognise the place when you arrive this morning! Tina was doing reiki sessions for humans and the four legged so if you are interested in booking please give us a call. I took Buddy in with me and he enjoyed all the attention. I then had a viewing for him at our house at 6pm with friends I’d volunteered with back in 2004… it was lovely to catch up and Buddy found himself reserved yay! Thank you everyone who helped especially Sarah with the drill!!! Another fabulous day x
