Thank you so much Ruth for letting me meet the most gorgeous finch- I,m just so sorry about the very sad circumstances but I know her last few days are going to be so happy with you and rob and the pics you took are beautiful-rest easy lovely girl xxxxxx

I took the beautiful Finch to the vets today - very sadly, an ultra sound showed numerous large cancerous tumours in her abdomen (leiomyosarcoma's) and the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. The vet advised that the kindest thing for Finch is not to let her continue to suffer as she is clearly in much discomfort. She has had some pain relief and I am going to spend the day tomorrow giving her lots of treats and cuddles before she gains her angel wings on Friday. I am so very very sad for her. x
