Poor Daisy, sorry to hear she is so nervous. My sister's dog is very nervous too. One of the best places we have taken him is Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens. It is so quiet and peaceful. Dogs have to be kept on leads, which is great as you don't have to worry about any other dogs running up. Might be worth a visit if it isn't too far for you to go. xxx

Maybe it was fate that returned Finch at this time. She couldn't get any more love, care & attention than she will with Ruth. Quality time indeed. Love to all invloved xx

Daisy (Dee)

Daisy has been with me for 5 months now. How fabulous! But Daisy is so scared of everything and everyone but me and her home and her garden. We go to lots of places together but she does not want to get out of the car - whether it is quiet or noisy, whether she can see people or not. Her thundershirt helps but there is no real ongoing improvement.we went back to kenilworth castle and she would not get out of the car. So I was wondering if some homeopathic treatment would help and would love to hear if anyone has any ideas. All my other greys were not so nervous as her......she is loved in just the same way and if Daisy lives out her retirement in the house and garden and car thats fine but I just want to do the best for her. Any suggestions most welcome...

Will I finally found Flossie's site. Just let all know she arrived home around teatime and is fine even though she has had numerous teeth out mostly on the lower jaw. Has had her breakfast this morning and appears to be talking to me.Sylv.

Finch was so stressed yesterday when she arrived at the kennels. We spent some time with her trying to let her know that she was safe and would be loved and then today when Ruth brought her back up and told me the news I was gutted that she wasn't going to get the happy ending that she so deserves. Life is just so unfair sometimes! I sat with her today and she was a much more relaxed dog, all she wanted was fuss and was pawing at me for more. Such a beautiful, loving girl! I know that she will be thankful that her last few days will be one's filled with so much love! I just wish there could have been many more! X

This is such desperately sad news and surely must be the hardest thing to deal with when you thought you'd be finding her a lovely home for her twilight years. Poor beautiful Finch. Have a really lovely day tomorrow with her Ruth. We will be thinking of you. xxxx
