We are the lucky people who have been adopted by Dexter! We wont be collecting him until 18th May as we go on holiday on 10th May, but we cant wait, and will be waiting at the gates @ 10.00am on the 18th. He will have a sister called Bridget (rescued greyhound) and a mom and dad who will adore him and give him everything he deserves, and all the love and affection he needs. We will keep you posted on his progress. Thanks for looking after him and keeping him safe until hes ours xx

Daisy was a star .. I thought she'd be tucked up in her corner all morning but she kept popping out and having a go 🙂 It was lovely to see cos my first grey was very very nervous and I know how you really worry for them and in case they get loose - Tiggers ID disc was huge cos I thought people would never get close enough to see it if she escaped .. 🙁 Well done to Daisy's mum for doing really well too 🙂 Julie x

I'm glad you & Daisy enjoyed training. It is a bit daunting when you first start, especially when you're not sure how your dog will react. I'm not surprised you felt welcomed, they're a v. friendly group,& pleased to see you will go again.

Clareb, what a lovely report from Sparky's first venture out into the big world. I can imagine it was a bit scary for him, after all it is so completely different from anything he's used to, so well done to him for behaving so well. Sounds like he just needs a bit of socialising into the real world, and then he'll be ready for his own forever home. He is such a lovely boy who deserves a chance. xx

  • Dingo

    I’m Homed

Dingo has made me really proud! On Monday at training he did well with "stay" and weaving in and out of the other greys and today he did his first off lead. It was at the end of a long walk around the park and he ran about three or four circuits of the field, he then came back, we put his lead back on and went to the bistro for a drink. I did feel like I might have a heart attack when he was close to the car park but I know how much he enjoyed it so I will persevere and do it again tomorrow. Please keep your thoughts with him to keep him safe. I love my boy so much. X

So persevere and keep up with it he'll get it ! We're going to Sally's training session on Tuesday as there is none Monday be good to see how Bonnie will be with the other breeds of dogs ,but all in all she has really settled in well and enjoying family life.We are so glad we hooked up with daybreaks and thanks Ruth & Jill for all your help finding our gorgeous Grey !
