What a gorgeous little fella Stanley looks! I was wondering if my children, mother and I could come and visit this Wednesday to see these beautiful dogs? We're seriously considering giving a dog a home (dad just needs a little more convincing!) x

    I’m Homed

We brought Lena / Nina home as she was a very scared little girl and my husband is a sucker for a damsel in distress. She has spent most of the last three weeks in her den behind a chair but is slowly gaining in confidence and is currently on the sofa with myself and Badger. But she is fine with the other dogs and loves to play in the garden with her two sisters. Jane xx

Happy birthday Badger! April Fools Day seems quite an appropriate birthday for the most boingy in your face greyhound I have ever met. A single handed demolition expert but much loved and currently fast asleep with her head on my shoulder. Jane xx

Bernie is back at the kennels through no fault of her own. She is great with children, clean and dry through the night and great in the house and great on her lead. Sadly the owner feels it is not the right time to have a dog and we support the family with their decision as it is a hard thing for the family to do.

    I’m Homed

Took Willow for a big walk today ... She met other dogs big and small ...and children and behaved impeccably!! Even met a horse which didnt spook her!! ... Really at home now and has found a favourite spot in th living room she likes to snuggle. Cries a bit when we all go to bed, but I think it's because of the withdrawal symptoms from all of the attention. She eats well, understands ours and her food and is attracting lots of attention on walks 🙂 ...she also travels well, overall getting on very well and a wonderful addition to the family 🙂

  • Queeny

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Queenie is a lovely girl, she is quite keen on her lead and just has to see everything. When she spotted a deer in the wooded area this morning, she went bonkers!! Leaping up and down, whining and barking - and when we walked on she kept trying to turn back for a second look!! She is such a sweety though, and is a happy soul. xx

    I’m Homed

Had a lovely walk with the beautiful Billy today. He really knows & responds to his name, and when you speak to him he looks right into your eyes. He loves being out on his walk, we spotted a deer in the wooded area this morning and he was transfixed by it - Queenie, who was walking with him, was leaping up and down and having a good old squeak and whine, but the only reaction Billy had was a loud & very deep bark or two, and I think that was more a comment on Queenie than the deer!!! He's a stunner and I hope he finds his home very soon. xx

Nancy is a very pretty girl, she was understandably quite nervous and not fond of the bath!! She does love a fuss though, and is so very happy to greet people. x

  • Laddy

    I’m Homed

The beautiful Laddy is a big, stocky boy who was a bit reluctant to have his bath this afternoon (well, it is a bit of a noisy & scary machine!!!) but patiently let us dry him and give him a good look over, bless him. He happily tucked into his supper though! xx

We welcomed Cherry to Daybreaks today, and what a sweet, dainty little thing she is. She was so good whilst she had her bath, and then ate up her supper nicely. Such a friendly soul, and so pretty. xx
