This boy has had 19 races and 1st or 2nd in 12 of them -he was in the open class (top racers) so a very good racer who has now retired although nervous he did seem to like his cuddles today and was a really good boy at bath time.

We're still going through the meal time thing with Yeuna - she'll come to the table while we're eating - we ignore her and she eventually goes and lays down - the other two don't bother us at all when we're eating & we did the same with them

How very sweet that Wish has picked up on this. Good luck to you all, it was lovely to meet you and don't forget to send Ruth a pic of both your little girls when the 2 legged one is better. X

Took Melody up the steepest path I can manage on the Malvern Hills -she loves rubbing her face in the snow too. Need to sort a strategy for mealtimes -is persuading her to go to her bed whilst we eat ,the best starting point?

Poor Stanley - he has been well an truly kept in line with Bernie who he has been sharing a kennel with - she loved telling him off!!!!! He now has the bed to himself and seemed very quiet after she was homed yesterday - I think he quite liked being kept in check!!!! He is our longest stayer now so I hope he will find a wonderful home soon x

I have kept an eye on Wilf at the kennels via the cameras now installed and he has had a very settled night. As Jess says, he was amazing with Cooper the rabbit - how could anyone not fall in love with this fella?

  • Sarah

    I’m Homed

Sarah has been with me for just over a day now and she has proved herself to be a very sweet little dog. She has settled in with my three excellently and there have been no grumbles or complaints whatsoever. There were no accidents in the house overnight although there has been the odd one in the hallway since. I think this will just be a matter of vigilance on my behalf though and ensuring that she is let out to the back garden very frequently throughout the day so that she gets the idea. This morning she had a wonderful time flinging around the fluffy toys and enjoyed batting a tennis ball across the lounge floor. I hope that she will become more confident the longer she stays here as at the moment she can be a little shy sometimes. I have had to temporarily change her name to Poppy as our cat is called Sarah too, so when I called the dog in the garden the cat appeared as well. I usually only call the cat when it is food time and the garden is dog free - I didn't really think it was fair on the cat to keep being called by mistake. Overall Sarah / Poppy is a little treasure of a dog and a pleasure to have around. 🙂

Wilf met a very big rabbit named Cooper today, he was fine with it. The rabbit was running round the room and he took no notice at all! Now the lovely Wilf is cat friendly, rabbit friendly, other breed friendly, greyhound friendly and of course people friendly! He is perfect xxx ps he's also a very big cuddle monster xxx
