Dingo is slowly seeming more confident with us and will come up to us for little cuddles now which is great. We took him for a long walk around Sutton Park this morning and although we could tell he was enjoying it, every time a dog approached him he was very scared. Even little dogs sent him hiding behind me and when another grey ran over happily he cried out in fear. We are going to book him onto Monday's training class but has anyone got any advice for us? Wondering if we should take him somewhere quieter tomorrow.

Its a small world this greyhound one. We were out at Pets at Home and the Hall Green Trust had a stand. On the stand was my Mom's best friend with her daughter and William her 3 yr old hound. I haven't seen Sue since my Mom's funeral last Jan, Mom died 25th December 2011, as Sue couldn't make my Dads funeral last May, he died in may. So at 36 I had lost both my parents. Maybe Denny is helping me a bit too after last year.

Oh Pete, my son wanted to come home with you today after bringing another pooch back that we had been fostering. You were our 2nd choice but we weren't sure if your poorly tail would be ok here with my 3boys & 2 dogs. Lovely, lovely dog-if you meet him youll see what I mean.

I hope Rory in a foster home which is much more suitable than ours was. At my home there are 3 boys, 1 very big male greyhound & a puppy whippet. There's a whole host of noises & the washing machine is rarely off. My home (& the people in it esp the animals) we too much for Rory. Without all the extras at my house Rory will be a kind & gentle dog. If I didn't have other dogs-he would live at my house & I'm confident there won't be any issues with him at all if he doesn't have to share a small space with other dogs. Good luck Rory, I'm sorry I didn't give you the experience of home you needed. Helen x

I met Clover today & fell in love. She looks like she will make an adorable & quiet companion. She seemed very gentle. She will, no doubt, be rehomed very soon-if not I think there's a space here if she needs fostering.
