    I’m Homed

I've just had a cuddle with Dingo. I told him he is going with Dolly to his new home tomorrow. I told him his first Mum keeps updated on how he doing is via the Daybreaks website and is pleased to hear he has a new home. I told Dingo although his not been with us long, he has been a pleasure to foster and we will miss him. I've explained that his new family are planning to take him to training and on some of the Sutton park walks so he will still be able to see his new greyhound friends Josie and Louis from time to time and tell them about his new adventures. I told Dingo that he is going to live with the lovely family he met at Daybreaks the family he seemed really taken with and went back to for extra cuddles when it was time leave. I've explained that I met with his new family yesterday and they have been busy preparing for his arrival. I've told him how comfy his new bed looks and that the whole family are very excited about him going to live with them. To be honest I'm not sure he understood a word I said but he looked at me gave me a lick and went to his bed for a sleep. That's good enough for me.

A shocking story, but now these lovely dogs are safe with Ruth and the other DB angels. Let's hope they find a loving home very soon. x

We can hardly believe that we have been with our pets for another week. Fearne and I are great friends and try and sneak onto our pet's bed whenever we can. I have learnt to climb up the stairs, but getting down is still a little frightening for a big lad like me. We are going to pick up the pet's caravan (whatever that is) next week and they have told us that we can go on the beach and see the sea. Don't want to sound stupid but... caravan ? sea? even Fearne is no help. She just said that "holiday" was a word she knew, the others were news to her too. Anyway, mother pet says we are going in the CAR and that's one we know..... walks.....and treats when we get home... wooppee !!!!! Tell you all about it next week. Love Fearne and Toby xx

Lots of love to Boo and Belle. Boo has the same father as my Twiggy; how different their lives have been. Can't bare to think of what may have happened to them if it wasn't for the great people who found out about their awful existance and rescued them. xxx

I saw footage of my Henry race! First out the traps & continued the whole way. So strange to then turn around & see a comatose pooch lying across my kitchen floor with his tongue hanging out! Poor Henners off to the vets in the morning-query colitis 🙁

Super day with this lovely boy today. He really is a wonderful dog. He's gentle & loving & so quick to learn basic commands. He's a joy to walk & listens to everything I chat about with him when we are out!! He sat for a long time today with my 3 year old son being told all about his kiddizoom camera & then nodded off! The super patient & knowledgeable Beryl came to see how he was getting on today. Without people like Beryl et al rgt would be nothing. Thank you Beryl. Marco is a wonderful dog & will make someone a loyal & loving companion & if you don't fuss him enough he nudges your bottom with his snout-its very funny. I hope someone will come to meet him soon because they will fall in love with him. Helen x

David had a fuss of Pete when we came to kennels last weekend and I've never heard a greyhound's teeth chatter as loudly as Pete's! He is a really gorgeous gentle boy. I want him!

Belle is the splitting image of our Rosie. Those sweet brown eyes look right into your sole and fawns have the most beautiful soft fur. You're safe now my darling. xx

Hi Rachel so pleased they are getting on well it is such a relief that they are settled and getting on with your dogs and family. I did spoil them they had cornflakes, rice pudding and warm milk for breakfast and then they had some dry food (Gain/ Burns) for tea with some wholemeal bread and gravy and pichard/ sardines. They were fed twice per day - morning and night with this. I know it isn't strictly greyhound diet but they loved it!!

What a lovely fella, hope he has a happy ending and goes to a home that treasures him along with Belle. Sounds like Boo & Belle have really been through the mill. He gets my cuddle today but he has to share it with Belle!!
