Thanks LindaPaul. She is a sweetheart but totally mad as Ruth will confirm! Don't know what Lola is like with other breeds but Silla is totally intolerant of anything thats not a greyhound! We kept thinking she would grow out of it, but she is 10 in August, so no. Good job she is such a good girl otherwise 🙂

Hi LizzyB Lovely photo of lovely Silla! I was thinking she is very like my Lola (Lass at Daybreaks or Highfire Lass was her racing name) and looked at greyhound data and they are half sisters! Lola is also much greyer now than her May 2010 homing picture too! I love the grey faces .... they are so expressive. xx

I can see from comparing the old photo, how much greyer her face is now, bless! Also need an updated photo of my son, he wil be embarrassed to see the old one on there! 🙂

I can't stop looking at you without a tear in my eye, I so wish you could have been reunited with your mum, sadly she went to the bridge last year. If you are anything like her you will be a wonderful companion.

Hi everyone, Toby here. I'd just like to add a comment to Fearne's latest note. I had heard on the grapevine that there was a computer dating service available at Auntie Ruth's special home for those of us that need new pets with soft beds to share. On monday morning I was introduced to a very cute grey who bounced over to me and said "do you come here often?" Was I flattered that she wanted to chat to a quiet lad like me. We went to her home and being a gentleman I offered to sleep on the edge of her bed, she completely misunderstood me and told me off. Females!!!! We now have a bed each and go for lovely walks and have matching coats and muzzles ..... we turn heads wherever we go..... such a handsome pair.. even if I say so myself. We get on really well now. She thinks she taught me how to clear the table... I think not, but let her believe that she knows all the tricks. I rather like this life. Thanks to Auntie Ruth.

Hiya Rory I am glad to see that you are getting lots of cuddles now and hope that you are not so sad. I see that alot of your friends have been rehomed in the last week or so, I know that your turn will not be far off. Look how long it took for Buster to be rehomed but he is now settled and having a whale of a time. I just cannot understand why it is taking so long as you are a beautiful looking grey and so good when you go out walking even with complete strangers like I was - and before you answer that yes I know I'm strange but I just cannot help it where pets are concerned. Hi everyone, You'll never guess, but Auntie Ruth's matchdog.com has given me an internet date !!! Wow. On monday my pets and I popped into the kennels to see if this dog computer dating can work. .... well.... I met a gorgeous boy, and tried to play with him, but we didn't quite hit it off, then Toby appeared around the corner. WHAT A HUNK !!!! We got on like a " kennels on fire". Auntie Ruth said that he needed a new home today, so he came back with us to Derby. When I showed him my home, he wanted to share my bed .... on the first date too.... well as anyone knows that is not done, so I had to give him a little growl to remind him that he can't take liberties with such a cute young lady. My pets bought him his own bed and we have "shared bedroom with twin beds". I've already taught him that the table is very accessible for morsels when the pets aren't looking !! He's a quick learner. I've taught him to run up the stairs as quickly as possible and come down slowly.....he's got the idea. Chat soon Love Fearne XXX
