Met Joey today...wow he's just a super stunner. He is so playful and friendly, he decided I needed a wash and proceeded to give frantic kisses so much I just sat there laughing at his antics. Whoever adopts this lad will be getting one very happy hound. He certainly made me smile xx

Billy continues to get braver. He is so excited to see us when we come downstairs in the morning but it’s just a bit too much to actually come out through the lounge door even though his whole back end is wagging. Once we go in to the lounge to him, he is full of love and cuddles. He’s slowly getting more relaxed out on walks but it’s a very slow process. He is starting to realise that medium sized dogs are ok to get near and sniff (cautiously) but little dogs……what on earth are they???!! And other humans may not be quite so frightening after all but he’s still not risking getting too close. Billy is one adorable dog xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

A very breezy day! Very Autumnal. 🙂 Tiff was due to go for her neutering operation this morning but it was cancelled. I don't think Tiff was too upset as she got to have her breakfast and go for walks! Alan and Declan went to the warehouse today. Thank you both! We now have bags of Burns available if anyone neeeds food 🙂 Thanks so much to Norman for taking Bullet out to the park this morning. Bullet had a great time. 🙂 Richard and Shirley brought their four lovley dogs in with them today....they are having some work done at home and didn't want to leave the boys alone with the workman in case they decided to "help" him! :)) Lovley little Holly was officially signed up today. She is such a very pretty little girl. She was very interested in everything going on around her. She was very happy to meet the other dogs and before going home had a race around the sand run. 🙂 Xxx We have several new dogs arriving over the next few days. Looking forward to meeting them all. Thanks so much to everyone for your help today. Yvonne as usual didn't stop...we were considering shutting her in a kennel for a sit down and a cup of tea! 🙂 We are so grateful for everyone's constant support. Xx Xxx

Bullet enjoyed his trip to Elmdon park today. He travelled well in the car. On arrival in the park he was obviously very curious to everything that was going on but soon settled and walked sensibly on the lead. He met several small dogs at close quarters without any problems whatsoever. He's a handsome brindle lad with a friendly inquisitive nature who is going to be a wonderful addition to any home

Oh dear I is in trouble again I found something called Christmas decorations whilst my Hooman mum was at work and did decorate the whole of the house with the tinsel dragging it into every room, I did think it looked good but my mum was not pleased, Joe did help it wasn’t just me. Perhaps my mum would have been more understanding if I hadn’t got hold of all her wool and did unravel it all around the house the week before and not forgetting chewing her insulated lunch box so she had to take me and Joe to the vets because a plastic buckle was missing off it, she now has to take her lunch to work in a carrier bag and is calling us a really bad double act. I am told there is a kennel spare with Ruth that has our names on it, I’m sure she doesn’t mean it as she says it’s a good job she loves us!

So wonderful to hear. I know there is a loving playful boy just wanting to come out and be your friend. I have sat with him in his kennel and once he knows you he will give kisses and play. In the feeding run he had actually play bowed and chased people around. He is such a lovely special boy, with love and patience he will make a remarkable addition to a family home. Thanks to Rosie and Paul for taking him home to experience what a loving environment is and to show him that it is not at all scary being in a home!
