I’m Homed
Socks is a big boy with a personality to match! He's so friendly and loves to play. We had great fun with a bouncy ball in the run. He'd thrive with a big space to run and play in. He loves his cuddles too and will kiss your face in appreciation! Good luck Socks. X

So good to hear Spotty is ok, she's had such a lot to cope with recently and yet she's still a happy girl. Can somebody please give this gorgeous friendly girl a home, even a temporary one. She really shouldn't be in kennels after 5 years in a home and at the grand age she is. Pleeeeeeease????

Lola (Lass)

Lola is feeling much brighter today - thanks for all the good wishes. Her grandad came to visit at lunchtime today and brought sausages so that cheered her up and then Julie dropped in this afternoon in with the Therapaw boot and tripe sticks so she has had a good day! It has to be said that Lena monopolised Julie though....Lola's had a bit of a duvet day (nothing new there really) and was still in her PJs at tea time 🙂 She's eaten both her meals with gusto and is getting more used to walking with her mega-foot dressing!xxx

Henry

Hi all, its been super to see all your kind wishes for Henry. It's day two of having Henners with us & he's such a super dog. He's kind, gentle, exceptionally well behaved, spotlessly clean in the house and........fast asleep on the sofa with his tongue hanging out after a long walk. He's been an absolute joy & his tail wags whenever he sees us. He's come to a quite noisy home (3 children & an 8 month old whippet). He's not so good at telling Jasper the whippet to stop chewing his ear but, I think, in a few days once his confidence is up he'll put Jasper in his place. Let's hope I can do my best for such a gentle giant & give him the home he deserves. Fingers crossed his weight will go up very soon now he's in a home environment. To all of you who I have met from or associated with Daybreaks-your dedication & devotion is phenomenal. You make a difference in the world every single day. I'll keep you posted on how Henry doing. My warmest wishes to you all-Helen & family x

Sadly Fearne has been returned as she is suffering from separation anxiety due to her owner now working. She has been paired up with Pluto and seems very settled back at the kennels.
