Thank you again for all your good wishes. We are completely heartbroken but still getting daily joy from our beautiful boy who is a real character and cuddle monster. His pain relief is currently very effective and we are hoping he will still be well in two weeks when we are off to Padstow again. I will be forever thankful to Ruth for allowing us to rehome him, I just wish he could have been with us for years instead of months. J+J xx

Hi Fearne Just explain to them that you're still worried about your new world and just need to stay near familiar people and they'll understand that you're only a little girl - and only 3... you'll get braver over time though it may be you'll be happier with another greyhound friend to hold your paw when your hooman pets are out .. aunti Ruth can let your hoomans have another greyhound or two 🙂 then you won't have to cuddle up to your hooman pets for comfort 🙂 Love Charlie lurcher who has most of the hooman bed at home 🙂

Oh fearnie you are a little minx- my latest boy rick was a bit like fearn- I think it,s just a case of settling espec as like my rick she was a returnee- rick followed us around constantly at first and we found that leaving him for small amounts of time at first and then longer and longer he got the message you may have to put up with the bed situation although I found if you keep coming down and giving reassurance then eventually they stop whining at night I don,t know what to suggest about gate jumping though mine were n,t clever enough to try that one- best of luck

Well, Zac has had a busy day today and is now crashed out in his basket snoozing away! This handsome boy attracted a lot of attention up at the garden centre this morning, and stood quietly and patiently taking all the cuddles whilst Michael conducted a mini awareness roadshow! We then took him to the kennels whilst we did our afternoon volunteering and he was quite content to sit cuddled up in 2 coats in the kitchen run, watching the world go by. Such a shame the weather was so dreadful as there were no visitors to admire this beauty sitting so quietly and patiently. xxx

Ah, thanks rumblesmom. He is certainly doing really well and being the perfect house guest, absolutely no trouble at all. I hope he finds his forever home soon as he really deserves it, he is such a sweetheart. x

Well the lovely georgous and perfect Spotty has had a nice time with the Healds and if lovely Beryl had not been waiting in the wings to take over we would have fostered her longer. Ive said it before and I will say it again.......this girl is just soooo loving and perfect in every way, she would have made an excellent P.A.T dog. Im sure some one will be along soon to snap her up as she has no bad points at all. 🙂 xxxxxxxxxxxxx
