Daisy has been with me for 12 weeks and as Ruth knows is a very nervous girl when she is out of her home or the car. She has a basket of toys and the last few days she has gone to fetch one and give it to me so we can play when I come downstairs in the morning. It is BIG progress for my beautiful girl. And yesterday she moved from her rug to lay by my feet under the dining table when I was sitting at it. So one tiny step for a greyhound but a giant leap for Daisy....fabulous. xx

Hope Lola's feeling a lot better this morning and all the 'nasty' has gone .. Charlie and Lucy will be sending some tripe sticks and a Therapaw boot to help her feel better 🙂 and for her sis Lena 🙂 J xxx

I'm sorry but 5 days is not near long enough to say that you have tried with a dog. When i first got our greyhound I constantly watched her, looked out for signs circling pacing etc and took her out several times a day for 5 minutes at a time until she settled and understood where to toilet. Let us not forget that these dogs have been kenneled all their lives and know of nothing else . They see our house as an extension to their kennel. Therefore with patience and kindness they eventually learn what we expect of them, but it takes time. These dogs require extra time to adapt, they are thrown into a totally different world and given up on far too soon. Never mind Patrick there is a home out there for you, you'll see.xx

Beautiful Spotty is tucked up at our house and fast asleep. She had her dental today and had 11 teeth out.... we picked her up from the vets this evening where she has been a little star all day for them. She is just adorable.... She will stay at ours tomorrow and I am sure she will be feeling much better soon x

I almost forgot Nora's appointment this evening as we have had a really busy day at the kennels. She is on more antibiotics - as she was so good at the vets, I took her up to Just for Pets at the Swan. She chose herself a new lampshade collar as we need to wash her other one each day due to her wound weeping so much 🙁 She wasn't impressed at just buying that so helped herself to a treat conveniently situated by the till - little minx!

Robbie and I have just come back from dropping Davey off on trial to the most lovely home he could ever wish for..... I had a phone call this morning offering him a chance and I am keeping my fingers crossed that he is a good boy.... watch this space! xxxx Missing you already Davey boy xxxx
