Daybreaks Diary!

It was a busy day for visitors today. It was good to see some old friends. Lovley big Moe came in with his Mum Carol for a pamper with Jess. :)) Gorgeous Nifty, Cilla and Flo came to see us too. :)) Marge was officially adopted! Well done to Michelle and her family for failing as Foster Parents....again! :)) Xxx Wishing you all lots of happy times together. Xxx Later this afternoon Paddy and Daphne came to use the sand run and have a manicure! :). Thanks so much to their family for the great donation of tinned food. Xx Lovely Athos was due to have his nails trimmed too but just as he arrived the bird scarer from the airport went off and he was too scared to come into the kennels. :(( It was very loud and all the kennel dogs were upset by it too. 🙁 Thanks so much to everyone for your help today. We had plenty of walkers so the dogs enjoyed morning and afternoon walks. Our new arrivals are all very excited about going out on walks! :)) Many thanks to our student Jez for all his help, it was just the two of us left this afternoon. :)) Sending lots of get well wishes to Ruth tonight, hoping she will soon be feeling better. Xxx Xxx

Mr Mikey says "Please can I find my forever home soon, where I can have great adventures and lots of fun play time." Such a bright, intelligent boy, Mikey would really benefit from a quite active home where he could enjoy long walks and exploration to stimulate him and keep him occupied. This morning we gave him an interactive doggy puzzle where you hide treats under certain covers and he has to move the covers to reveal the treat. As a food orientated boy it took him about 3 seconds to catch on to what he needed to do - and he had a lovely time uncovering tasty treats. He has been in kennels too long, and really needs that special home of his own now. Good luck gorgeous. xxx

Earlier this week it was Charlotte's 10th birthday. Happy she is still relatively active and in good nick :-). Not sure she appreciates Barney and Caesar as she probably would have liked a quieter time at her age. Specially Caesar (our ound cancer patient) who is 2 and full of live and jumps on HER!! sofa without permission from her 😉 Happy birthday Charlotte hope there are many more to come
