Daisy and I would like to wish everyone a very merry christmas. It is daisys first christmas in her forever home and she has had a special sardine breakfast and extra hugs. Every greyhound deserves a life full of love and sofas (although Daisy pefers her sheepskin rug!). Heres hoping for a year when more people appreciate the joy these special dogs can bring. xx

To all our 'Greyhound' friends (both two and four-legged variety), we'd like to wish you all a fantastic Christmas Day. Emily had me up at 6.30 am, letting me know that 'he'd' been! Santa had bought her a new squeaky toy and she was putting it to good use!!!!! Gent had his head tucked under his paws, hoping to get another hour's sleep, poor thing. Buddy (Arthur)

Day 3 and Arthur loves his food, treats, walks and fuss. He is very good on walks, doesn't pull, even when other dogs are around. He takes treats very gently, and doesn't snatch or lunge. With three teenagers in the house it gets quite noisy and busy, especially at this time of the year, but Arthur has taken it all in his stride. Even when there visitors he doesn't know arrive, it doesn't seem to bother him, he just carries on as normal! Well it's Christmas eve and we're all hanging up our stockings. Arthur's Christmas wish is for a permamnent home of his own. Please Santa!

I saw Snowy kissing Santa Claus Underneath the mistltoe last night They didn't hear me creep Around the run to take a peep They thought that I was tucked up In my kennell fast asleep I saw Snowy tickke Santa Claus Underneath his tummy so snowy white Oh what fun it would have been If Jelly had only seen Snowy kissing Santa Claus last night Merry Christmas to all on two and four legs xxxx

We are not to sure why this young boy has not been able to find a forever home. Here is a list of some the things we have experienced with him in 2days. He is completely house trained, he walks lovely on a lead, he gets on with both our other dogs - one female, one male, he is nice and calm and he has a lovely temperment. He loves a bit of fuss and is good around food - what more could anyone want more out of a loyal companion. Merry Christmas to everyone related with Daybreaks and to all that have fostered a dog in both the short and long term to help them find a forever home!!!
