He really is a lovely boy! He's been out on walks with Norris and behaves like a real gentle giant. He has seen several other dogs, of differing size and breeds without any problems. He's definitely relaxing a bit more and I suspect there is a real cuddle monster in there waiting to come out. He is very inquisitive about the world, just like Norris, and wants to investigate everything. We have never had to worry about any of our Greys going upstairs, but Arthur took himself up there earlier today as if it was the most natural thing in the world. I don't think he was very impressed when I made him come back down, especially as he had his eye on our bed! Unfortunately we can only keep him with us while it is the school holidays, so it would be really fantastic if we could hand him over to his forever home rather than having to take him back to the kennels at the end of the festive period.

Davey is arriving on the 4th January 2013. He has been in a home since August 2008 and is being returned through no fault of his own. If you think you could offer him a home, please contact the kennels..... being used to home life, it would be fantastic if he could straight to a new home.....

Poor Wendy had a 'fit' this morning and so was brought back to the kennels to be monitored and spent the day in the office. Unfortunately she had another fit this afternoon and was taken to the emergency vets. We will be keeping a close eye on her and have medication to give her if she has another fit during the night. We had been advised to give her a little something to eat every three hours and she is going to the vets tomorrow again for tests. She is very settled at the moment at ours and we will keep you posted.

Everybody is getting on very well so far. Minnie seems happy to have another greyhound buddy and George is a little stressed but settling down. He absolutely adores all the toys here and is having a lovely time trying to play with them through the muzzle. I'll try to get some pictures of him enjoying himself after he is a little more settled. With any luck I will be taking him to the awareness day at Tesco in Warwick on the 27th. 🙂
