I couldn't resist putting these photos on which were taken at Hall Green track last year when we were invited as guests by Gent & Emily's owners. We knew Spot would be coming into the Trust when she retired so it was great to see her enjoying her racing - she has had a wonderful trainer who has cared for her and we will look forward to her sister 'Spotless' coming in soon hopefully 🙂

Max was a wonderful boy to foster and he is chilled, happy and follows you around quietly and gently. It was very hard to know it was his time to find his forever home and we do miss him very much as do his greyhound friends he shared our home with. But we know that the family to adopt Max will have a very special dog and I look forward to hearing that he has his very own special people forever xx

This gorgeous boy was so shy , so rather than stress him we decided to give him bath time al-fresco which he really semed to enjoy. He has the sweetest face and I get the feeling he will be a lovely friendly boy once he ventures out of his shell. I'm sure he will melt a few hearts - he's got to me already! x

Hi Jeff I have always fed my German shepherd ( Harry) on James Wellbelloved as he has a upset stomach due to digestive and pancreas problems (he is 12 by the way) everthing was going well until we had a bag of JWB that didn't suit him. So made the decision to feed him Burns Pork and Potato ( the same food that we feed Jack our grey). He absolutley loves the food and has no adverse reactions, they both tell me when it is feeding time and Harry seems to have a new bounce in his step. Mary

Hi Shelly, this is Magics new mum. If you need any more advice please feel free to email me on esther.cottrell@hotmail.com. I can recommend a brilliant book to read to help understand separation anxiety: "understanding the silent communication of dogs" by Rosie Lowry. It's only a short paperback but I can highly recommend it. It's easy to read and understand and helped us no end with Magic. Give Daisy a big cuddle from me x

We feed our two Goldens on the same food as Minnie. It is a 18% protein food and they (Goldens) came off a 22% protein food which they had been on for years - both are fine and have had no problems.

Hi Jeff, I have given my non greyhounds the same food as my greys for 4 and a half years now and have had no problems. Obviously all dogs are different and reactive in differing ways, but I would say give it a try you may get a bit of an upset tummy initially as Teddy gets used to his new diet but that should settle. Jill.

Carrie has had 20% protein food since I got her ( which I have always given my dogs and I know borderline for greyhounds) but Ive been keen to get a lower protein food and have found a 17% greyhound food ,burgess Greyhound mix, but was also keen to clear out the 6 months supply of dog food that I have always kept , so I know Burns Pork and potato is recommend , but I dont do pork I hate the stuff and wont even put my dogs anywhere near it , the thing is Im keen to give Teddy the same food , so does anyone feed there "normal" dogs this lower protein food... to save Ruth getting Repetitive Strain injury on the computer mouse finger, approving comments , if you would like to reply off forum and if its ok to do so , my email address is Jeff@theoldbridgehouse.wanadoo.co.uk My word , a serious post from me , wonders will never cease ..
