Congratulations to Emma and her new family. Love the footstool pic! Met you last time at Stratford when we were chatting about your gorgeous big lad and I said there was another one coming on the walk to rival his size.... and it turned out to be Beau's brother! May see you again this Sunday. We have 2 black girls (Lola & Lena) in fuschia blizzard coats. Wishing you lots of happy times with your now complete family, Linda, Paul & the girls xx

Hi Mand, she is doing great. Whilst I am at home writing the Grapevine she is nestled on her bed downstairs. We haven't had a tail wag yet but she is going to stop with Jayne tomorrow as Faith (who is currently with Jayne) is now ready to be settled at the kennels. She is starting interact a little more and is eating well. She is getting plenty of cuddles - she is so adorable, small and sweet.

Hi Ruth. How's Little Lizzie doing? I've been telling everyone about her. Even had my poor Mom in tears last night (sorry Mom!). Will she be at the kennels on Saturday? I just have to come and spend some more time with her! Mand x

    I’m Homed

To all who were watching her progress, Emma is doing fine, no cries and clean last night, a very good girl so soon. She has developed quite a cheeky character very quickly as she is so in love with Beau and seems to have come out of her shell. Beau's not quite so entralled yet but decided (as you can see in top photo) that she might have her uses as a footstool. I thought the saying was "under the thumb" not "under the foot". She's a gorgeous little girl who can now enjoy her retirement with her Valentine Beau! Our family is complete , I am a happy mum and the little charmer has Graham wrapped round her little finger already. Her new winter coat arrived today so she's ready to see you all for her first walk at Stratford this Sunday xx

  • Jester

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

well Jester has done over 24 hours now at his new foster home. Last night was a little bit of an ordeal, Maddie had to sleep downstairs to keep Jester company. Every few hours there was a click click of claws as Maddie checked out the bedroom for her missing bed, and Jester came up the hall to look for Maddie. Today has been a new routine for everyone, Jester has got a good apetite and has had a big bowl of liver and a pigs ear. He's taking treats from us if we offer them in imaginative ways! They've had two good walks together and are good on the leads. Jester was a bit angry about some cats he noticed through the patio doors, he got a loud bark, Maddie took to our bed upstairs, and Jester was pacing and checking the patio over and over again, not realling settling until after dark. They're doing well together, swapping beds, toys, and bowls with each other. Jester does need Maddie and looks for her, but she's a little bit put out by it all and is being cool, but she's a gentle dog and they will be fine together.. So far so good. We're all learning!
