Betty - now renamed Milly has done so well over the last 2 weeks that we made it official yesterday that she is here to stay. She is a real cuddle monster and very gentle and quiet. We are still working on the cat interest as she is very keen to see them and investigate. I think with time this will improve, but for now the cats have retreated upstairs and won't come down much! Her and Joey get on perfectly, sleeping cuddled up together 🙂 Love my Milly!!! xxx

Quick update from Kelly. I love it here, I get so many cuddles from everyone & my new sisters are lovely to snuggle up with. I spotted Ellie cat through the window yesterday, & although she looked quite interesting & my ears pricked up, I didn't make a fuss. I am eating up my yummies that Auntie Ruth gave to my new Dad yesterday & have had no accidents in the house. There are lots of toys to chase & catch (which made everyone laugh) & I showed off sitting & giving paw for treats too. There is always someone to cuddle up with on the sofa & yesterday I spent all afternoon snugged up to Dad being fussed for the whole of the rugby. I am a very happy little girlie 🙂

Poor Berry has cut her shoulder and is at vets being stitched, the wound is only small but still needs a couple of stitches. Waiting to hear from them as to when we can pick her up.

You and Lucy are my favourites at the moment, I always seem to fall in love with the greys that have been at the kennels the longest...mostly because I feel sorry for them. This boy is absolutely amazing. I love you See you soon xx

Maybe Lucy will be better as an only child? But now that she's house trained maybe that will help you get a new home quicker, I really hope so see you soon Love you xx

I am so pleased for this little lady. Met her when i collected Kelly on Thursday & was very tempted to bring them both together, so she didn't have to stay at the kennels overnight!! She is so affectionate & the way she looks at you with those big beautiful browns, it just melted me! Be happy girl. x

    I’m Homed

Same thing with our boy Gent, he's always asleep with his eyes open. Usually it's when he's dreaming too and you can tell because his ears are twitching or his legs are moving (must be chasing squirrels in his dreams!). No harm was done and I'm glad that you took to the internet to do a bit of research about the freaky way some of them sleep with their eyes open. Paddy is still your best friend, Lewis, you just startled him a bit and he told you off for it. He's probably like you and me, he loves his bed and his sleep and doesn't want people disturbing him when he's zzzz'ing away! Take care and have a lovely day in this sunshine. Hopefully see you tomorrow at the open day at the kennels if you can make it. Mand x
