Norman, one of our volunteers, took Sarah on a walk in Stratford today and she is going to go out on trial on Tuesday as she passed her cat test. She is currently curled up on her bed at our house fast asleep - she has had an exciting day! x

    I’m Homed

I have just got home after dropping Smooch off at her new home. She has gone to live with Bella the greyhound who lost her brother recently. Smooch was running around the house, knocking the baubles off the tree and Bella had found her waggy tail as she had been so sad recently. Good luck Smooch - hope it all goes well xxxx

A big cuddle for Toby. You are doing so well you lovely boy and you have the best of care. It was nice to see you today looking so warm and cosy and you were quite interested in your mum's mince pie so that is a good sign. We are all thinking of you and your mum and dad and brothers who must be missing you loads. Lots of love from Linda, Paul and the girls Lola & Lena xxxx

I was in kennels last week when you were looking at Tinker and Your mum was on the phone to your dad telling him about her.So glad you chose her and pursuaded your dad to have her. Ithink all of you including Tinker have the best Christmas present ever. Looks like Tinker is going to be spoiled rotten ,just as she deserves.

I popped in to see Toby yesterday and he was being lavished with TLC.Joe one of the volunteers is fantastic with Toby gently exercising him and helping him to sit up.He looked very snug in the treatment room and I understand the big boy still has a good appetite which will hopefull aid his recovery. He is in the best of hands and hopefully he will be back with his mum and brothers soon.Love to you all. PS did some one say Joe is training to be a vet. if so he will be brilliant and will have a queue of greyhounds at his door once qualified.

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

I met Sarah when she was returned yesterday she is the sweetest little poppet you have ever seen. She is petite with fine features and she seemed to be pleased to be back amongst friends. She was friendly wagging her tail and giving everyone a warm greeting even licking my little lurcher. She loved the attention everyone(adults and children) were giving her and especially enjoyed the treats. I am sure she will be a wonderful addition to someones family and as Ruth says in the right home her toileting accidents will become a thing of the past.
