Oh goodness, that worked out quite expensive with the raisins - at least I knew the chicken wasn't toxic : ) I think we only left it unprotected because the two girls have been such angels so far and never attempted to take anything before ... I think they just wanted to lull us into a false sense of security and they certainly got their reward! I'm determined that next Sundays roast won't find irs way into doggy mouths.....!

I'm in tears, so, so happy for Mr Jake. I absolutely loved this boy and genuinely would have had him in our home if I thought we could've managed three. Please, please keep us updated with his progress. Mand x

Oooh just imagine beautiful Aimee with handsome Alfie...homed together! What a stunning couple they would be with their matching white nose strips. I have a black and a fawn and they do make a lovely pair, but I'm biased ;)!

Dora
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Have you tried putting puppy nappies down for Dora? We have to use them for our 13yr old grey as she has a chronic kidney problem (on medication) which means she drinks a lot and wees a lot-- outside whenever possible--or on the nappies, with a plastic sheet underneath, if we have to leave her for any length of time.

Misty is happy, enjoying walks and treats. Thanks for the free samples of Nature Diet food both greys are tucking in which is good news for our old lady Maggie as she is a very fussy eater (partly due to a chronic kidney condition). The two dogs are very calm together.

To Chango's mum, my apologies for having a dig at you before, it is completely understandable that you need to think of your existing dogs happiness first. I'm sure Doc will find a loving new home soon. xx

I am really pleased to hear that Misty has found a loving home. I saw her at Daybreaks just after she had been returned and she looked so lost. I wish her all the best.

Doc

We are very sad that we needed to return Doc to the kennels and hope that he finds the right home very quickly. He is a lovely friendly dog and is responsive to instruction. He is curious and intelligent and a natural climber of stairs! He learned not to beg for food or jump on the kitchen worktops quickly. However our other greyhound was terrified of Doc even though he is quite laid back and submissive. The atmosphere was extremely tense and upsetting for both dogs so it felt like the right thing for both to return Doc. He also needs more training when out near other non-greyhounds. Good luck Doc, we miss you and hope it works out for you. xx

Star
I’m Homed
Star is a wonderful girl, getting more and more laid back etc xxxxx Still not there with the cats though. Although not aggressive she will try and chase if she thinks we are not watching her (but we always are) and is still a little too interested. All our others completely ignore them if they wizz past and will let them cuddle them on the sofa! xxx But other than that she is a real character, and in her safety zone (with us and in our house) she is confident and chilled xxxxx
