Really sad as it takes more than just a few days for a newbie to settle into home life.... there are always grumbles to start with and it just takes perseverance and a bit of TLC to make it work. I have had 12 greys now and each one has settled, given time and patience because we wanted it to work and made it work......

thanks julie, i think it kind of wore him out! He has been round many times before but only in the safe custody of Daryl!! Otherwise Little M visits his home and they play in the garden. It was lovely sitting in the lounge, pottering in the kitchen and simply observing him, I learned a lot about both Jack and Little Milly (and my fat-cat Miles who is completely dog-friendly!) i also learned its possibly not the right time to volunteer to foster until Little Milly has grown up and learned life doesn't need to be lived in the fast lane!! Jack is her 'mentor' in how to relax and enjoy everything. I hope his warm, calm, obedient, friendly, clever, trustworthy,sensible, yet hilariously funny personality rubs off!! if we Ignore his terrible flatulence, this hound is PERFECT! Daryl can take all the credit for providing a very loving caring home. see you sat, Clarex

Sad for this lovely lad. He is very special n my favourite at the mo cus he's so laid back n such a gentle big boy. I don't think it'll b long b4 he's reserved again n he's gonna make such a loving, fantastic addition to some lucky family. Good luck big boy. X

What a lucky boy you are Jack a lovely dad ,some doggy day care with Clare and Milly aka as the wildchild for a friend.You will be the envy of your kennel mates! Ps My Milly wants to know what you like listening to on the radio she is rather partial to The Archers and watching football on the TV!
