Star
I’m Homed
Star went to stop with Grey Faced Joey last night but sadly kept the owners up most of the night with her crying. I collected her early this morning and she spent a day at the kennels with me. She is terrified of some people(mainly men) but ok with others and Bob managed to take her on a nice walk this afternoon and she enjoyed cuddles with Karen too. She is back home with us and fast asleep - she is so lovely x

Star
I’m Homed
Star spent the night with us last night and was lovely. She quickly forgot to be scared of us and it wasn't long before she was belly up with her legs in the air on our sofa with us. She got on really well with Joey and was keen to meet our cats but not in an aggressive manner. She didn't like being shut away from us during the night and cried until we eventually brought her up to our bedroom (after putting her out twice), but this could easily be solved with some patience and love. A really cuddly and affectionate girl who needs someone to love her back!

Gorgeous new photo of Cara - she has such a beautiful face. She should have been snapped up ages ago, but hopefully soon will be 🙂

Agnes
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Beautiful Agnes broke my heart when she arrived this afternoon after she had been speyed. She is the most beautiful girl. She has had several litters of pups during her life (see Greyhound Data link) - we have already homed a few of her offspring (more recently Bower Girl - Flossie). At her age, she just wants a comfy bed - Ray, one of the volunteers has taken her home as I have the two girls (Tink and Dora) here post op. Can't wait for Agnes to recover from her op so we can give her a bath and get her fur back to a beautiful gleaming white and help her put some weight on as she is rather thin.

looking at her race history she seems to have only raced 18 times but was placed 13 times has she been used for breeding.I have to agree she does look a bit sad and on the thin side or are the pictures deceptive.

Ah, a ready made family for someone if they adopt Tink and Dora together - looks like they're sisters. So cute, go on someone, you know you want to! Mand x

Jack
Over the Rainbow Bridge
'Doggy Daycare' continues. Last week when jack was at our house his and Little Millys nick names were 'George and Mildred' cos she didnt stop bothering him and 'nagging' to play! However this week, when Milly is at his house, they play a bit then sit on the sofa together, being comical, reminding me of 'The two Ronnies'!! Unsure who they will impersonate next - hope its not the Kray Twins!
