Over the Rainbow Bridge
Ellie-may not her self today, noticed a red lump on her belly last night, when i felt it she cried out in pain. Been to the vets and she is booked in to have a ultrasound and blood test next week. vet does not think it is a infection but smething is going on in her tummy , ellie nearly hit the roof when emily the vet examined her.Hope it is nothing serious, fingers crossed. All your family love u sooooo much ellie. : (

My beautiful Wispa is going in to have her last two remaining teeth removed (the canines = big operation)..... I won't be able to settle until I have the news from the vets later that she is ok

Hi Kate, lovely to hear from you even if all is not well. Flossie & Minty well. As to the vet he did ask if we know anyone who would foster another grey with a broken hock (not us), so I've asked around. As to Mindy I feel miss may not be the word (more than that). But I will have to move on and we have her lovely daughter who in many ways takes after her. Back to Twiggy she was only trying to bring you a rose while you were off work?? Love Sylv xx

Hi Sylv, so sorry for not replying sooner. I have been off work for the last three weeks having some treatment on a gammy leg! Unfortunately we don't have a computer at home at the moment; I have really missed being able to see what has been going on at Daybreaks. It was so lovely being at home with Twiggy; she is well except for managing to get her ear stuck on a rose bush yesterday! All ok today. I hope Flossie and Minty are well. Has your vet asked you to take in anymore needy hounds? I wish I could think of something to say that would help ease the pain of losing your beautiful Mindy. You must miss her so much. Love to you all Kate and Twiggy xx

I can sympathise, our boy Gent has to go in to have a lesion removed from his leg tomorrow and we've got to starve him from 7 pm tonight - he's gonna hate us come tomorrow morning! Hope Macca gets on okay and you managed to persuade him to get in the car with love and kisses instead. Mand x

Big day for Macca today, he's having some teeth out. He thinks I don't love him anymore coz he hasn't had breakfast - he keeps looking at me with those wonderful soft eyes - he can't understand it. Getting him in the back of the car with no food reward may be quite interesting.....
