Blue
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Our dog used to freeze outside our front door & refuse to go for walks too. We found that he still liked to run, so we ran out of the front door, & kept running until he was far enough away that we had to go for a walk! It looks a bit strange & one neighbour did offer to race us to the end of the road (with him driving!) but who cares, it worked & exercised us too! Best of luck, he'll improve with time & patience.

Lucy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Lovely Lucy is such a tiny girl but absolutely FULL of energy. She is very excited when she goes on her walks and loves her kennel mate Char. She loves to lay her head of him and constantly wags her tail. Sadly because of her constant wagging tail she keeps splitting it so we have to keep bandaging it.

Ronnie
I’m Homed
i can't sing Ronnie's praises enough, he really has been as good as gold whilst he has been with us, there has not been a single problem, he gets on well with the boys (greys), eats well, sleeps well, walks well, behaves well, is clean in the house, he is very loving and affectionate and very intelligent, eager to learn....whoever offers Ronnie a home will not regret it for a moment...i feel i am the one losing out by not being able to give him his forever home, i love him very much and hope with all my heart that he will be in his own home with his own mum very soon...xxx

Rocky
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Hollybollycollie - Rocky does have problems with other breeds, but soon gets used to them. When Ina dropped him off to us, he took one look at our yellow lab and started barking at her. We told him "no" and he has been fine ever since. He is also fine with our daughter's Jack Russell, who we look after when she is at work. He is getting used to the dogs that we meet regularly on our walks and is absolutely no trouble at home. We took him to the Great Greyhound Gathering last weekend and entered him in the over 7's class and he got a fourth !!! (out of about 40 dogs). If you are interested in taking him, please have a word with Ruth and we can arrange a meet.

Jack
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Jack(anory) - episode 4. Jack has claimed the house as his own. Not only have I had to relinquish use of the sofa, he's now claimed my favourite armchair as his own. I wouldn't mind, but he can only laze on 1 piece of furniture at a time but when I park my backside on the one he's vacated, he looks at me from across the room with utter contempt! New likes: Chicken liver pate (a little too fond) Bicycles (doesn't really like them but they don't spook him now) CHEESE Jack Daniels (only kidding Ruth)! Luncheon meat Sardines in tomato sauce or sunflower oil Even more kisses and cuddles Top Gear (what a guy)! Dislikes: Pyranese Mountain Dogs Having his teeth brushed Cheap Sainsburys doggie treats Eastenders Foreign objects found in bed: Hot water bottle (complete with fluffy cover) Later tax code notice from the Inland Revenue TV remote - again (how does he do that) Mains charger for my camera battery! I've discovered that Jack is very aloof! He only plays when he feels like it, lets you know when HE'S hungry, lets you know when HE wants a pee and inbetween all this, he's still sleeping for England.
