Rocky
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Hollybollycollie! Rocky is coming along to the open day today at Daybreaks so please come along to meet him if you can. He is still in a foster home in Burton as he was so distressed at the kennels, so today will be a great opportunity for people to see him.

Rocky
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I have a 10-yr old female whippet cross and if Rocky wants to come and live with us he's welcome - assuming he'd get on with our girl. We are a working family and thought it would be nice for our old girl to have a friend at home during the day. My boy and I were drawn to Rocky; he's gorge!!

Your dad is right to worry about letting you off the lead but in time you might be OK. Why dont you ask your dad to go into the fenced off tennis court in Kings Heath park and check that there are no holes inthe fence and that the little gate by the basket ball area is locked he could let you off the lead in there and perhaps he could take your goose.Just be careful to get him to stand/block the entrance to the court if the door hasn't been replaced. You might need someone else to go with you. My mum takes me in there sometimes and no one seems to mind! PS you can just turn up to training details are in the top corner of the website your dad has vouchers for you and Millie would need to pay £4.He could also take you on one of the greyhound walks if he felt energetic.Hope to see you soon Millie

Hi, I live in Burton, so id you need more grey friends for Blue I'm happy to help. I have Reubes & Blossom. Bloss is a bit of an excitable girl & Reubes is too layed back to bother with anything. Have you tried ttouch massage? It helps loads with Bloss when she is stressed. Julie Sadler runs workshops, there really good. luv t

Hi, I am so sorry to hear poor Ronnie was so upset, I didnt realise Kat had a new home, but so pleased to hear it, I'm sure she will be very happy with her new family, but poor Ronnie, I wish I could have him, his eye condition would not put me off at all, he is a gorgeous boy, Unfortunately I just have to be content with walking them and helping out for the time being anyway.

Ronnie was really crying when I left the kennels as he spent the day in the main run with Will (who was visiting with the hope of being picked by anyone visiting) and my greys. He just loves having company and as his kennel mate Kat went today, he was all on his ownsome lonesome 🙁 I really hope someone gives him a second look soon - he really is an amazingly brave and lovely boy.

Why is no one fallin for little joey. He's so much fun n reminds me so much of another little Joe who was waiting along time for a home this time last year. Thankfully a lovely family fell for that Joe at the dog show hopefully it'll b the same for this joey unless someone falls for him b4 then. He is gonna make a great pet. X

So many girls chosen today, which is amazing.. But what about all of the daybreaks boys?? Like gorgeous ronnie? He is a stunning boy and so affectionate. Good on his lead and ok a tad stubborn when going back to his kennel... Only because he wants his own loving home and a family to love him! Someone please see past his condition, it only affects his eyes it does nothing to stop his enjoyment of life and he will make a superb companion for someone... As his vet has agreed to treat his condition for free.. Tanworth certainly isn't the other side of the world for a once a month trip. And he will be well worth it. Cracking boy. Someone please offer him the loving home he so deserves xxxxx

Just an update on meg and diesal. Meg is now off the lead and has been since july. She lisens when called and never leaves my sight. She loves to run round in cirles (like shes still on the track) =) ... Diesal loves having Meg around he has showed her how to be lazy in the house!!! Meg was unfortuanlty attacked by another dog in elmdon park but she has now fully recovered. Her coat is now near enough perfect and the attack has done nothing to her amazing personality. she truely is a beautiful little star. i would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at day breaks and sue for all your support and help through the difficult months.

Hey Millie. I've heard that there was another 'Millie' in the neighbourhood but I only know one (3 doors away). The Millie I know is so cute and very playful. You will usually find me in the park around 6.30 in the morning and 6.30 in the evening (I'm an early riser and I like to be comfortable in bed before 8)! Me and Millie would love to go to Saturday training because I know my Dad is desperate to let me loose off my lead but is scared I won't go back to him. Maybe we'll see you there soon? From Jack

kat has made herself straight at home, she,s been to the park and didn,t know what to look at first as it was so exciting- she,s been a little bit naughty about toys and beds growling because she wants them to herself but a firm no and she seems ok- loves duffy and not very interested in my old one pippa as she doesn,t move much- she,s very loving and has eaten well and is perfect with her toilet. see you tomorrow to sign all the papers.

Hi Jack....if you aren't very keen on electric wheelchairs you should try and get over to Auntie Julie's Saturday morning training classes at Heighters Heath. My mum uses an electric wheelchair and none of our friends who go seem to have a problem with it and soon get used to us whizzing around, my mum won't mind if you want to give it the once over until you get used to being around one....Boogie and Fletcher x x

Hello Jack my mum has just come back from Sainsburys and it seems we live 5 mins away from each other. She has just seen your friend Millie being walked by her big brother. My mum is a bit freaked out apparently not only do I look like your friend Millie and have the same name we both have identical house collars and ID tags! How spooky is that or perhaps both our mums have impecable taste. Perhaps we will bump into each other in Kings Heath park or maybe you and Millie would like to come to Saturday training classes which are near the Maypole. love Millie(the lurcher)
