we were at the kennels picking up our lovely Mia, known on here as Su when Pippa came in. We could not believe the state she was in and yet how loving and trusting she was. But I have to say that Pippa is now a very lucky girl, Ruth and others at Day breaks are so loving and caring that I am convinced that she is going to have the best life ever from now on. We were sooo tempted to have ask if we could have her when Mia settles in and Pippa is better, maybe, we'll see. Hugs to you Pippa.

I actually cried when i saw the pictures of pippa and how can people be so cruel, have explained it to my girls how cruel this was and to never hurt an animal this way. My heart goes out to pippa and i just want to bring her home with me to shower her with love and kisses, hope she feels better soon. xxxxx

Every greyhound through your gates touches your heart in a little way but stories like this just wrench at it! I am so glad to see that she has such a smily, happy face and is obviously a very forgiving little girl. I can't wait to see the transformation that I know Jill and her lovely family will bring. Lots of cuddles and treats coming her way I'm sure. Let us know as soon as a name is chosen! 🙂 xxx

Arty went in for his second dental yesterday and had another 7 teeth removed..... he has had a comfy night at ours and is chilling out on the window seat as we have our morning cuppa! He is soooo sweet....

A quick update, this gorgeous girl is fast asleep stretched out on a comfy bed as I type. She has come into our home and settled so well you would think she has been here forever. Absolutely beautiful and so trusting.

You poor poor girl, cannot believe how cruel some people can be to any animal. I hope they get what is coming to them, very glad Daybreaks is in control of her welfare and are sure you will make a speedy recovery. Lots of luvs...xxxx

Wen I saw this little girl come into the kennels tday I was so shocked n angry. Ruth is ryt, the pictures do not show how awful n emaciated she is n she is covered in open wounds n sores. Wen I gave her some food she scoffed it in seconds n wanted more but also took treats so gently from our hands. She is amazing. After all her abusers hav put her thru she is still so trusting n was waging her tail. She was just lapping up all the love and cuddles we were all giving her. Thank god she lived to make it too daybreak. She is a very special girl. How about calling her Delta cus she's been delt a second chance.. (c wot I did there). Big hugs too her. X

I can't think of anything printable to say so I shan't comment on this other than to say how relieved I am that Jill now has her. Re names, I think all the suggestions are fab, however I rather like Pippa - such a pretty name and also both this little lady and Pippa Middleton have bony bums (for now...!)
