Well lovely Harry came over this morning to meet Blue and they had a nice sniff/play in the garden but it didnt help with getting Blue out...he wouldnt budge off the front lawn again 🙁 We tried for an hour or so treats etc and also tried to get Blue in the car so that we could try and take him up to the park and see if that made a difference but it didnt, I could get him to the car nevermind in it 🙁

well it's now a week since goldie came home, can't believe she hasn't always been part of our family! Her personality is really blossoming, we've got a complete food monster, a cheeky monster and a sleepy monster! She 's trainin us well in not leavin any food, plates, glasses or anything interesting about, if we do and we keep forgetting, thats then end of that! She loves her walks, not keen on other dogs, though working on that, cats well she looks but walks on by unless they run then she's a little bit more interested but the most exciting thing is the bed time walk when we tend to see a fox, well that is the highlight of the day! Mum is really impressed with no disturbed nights, n how she walks on her lead, in fact she's an all round star and we LOVE having her! right time for a walk!

Well it's been nearly 2 weeks since Jack arrived and he's settled in beautifully. He met his first lady grey out on his walk this morning and he was the most appalling flirt! As soon as she trotted over, he turned his back on her - how rude! Likes so far: small cubes of cheese cooked ham mint flavoured hide chews Tetleys tea the sofa (which he fills by ensuring he's fully stretched out) the squeaky goose (always)! Dislikes so far: bicycles?? motorised wheelchairs being told off when he tries to stick his nose in my dinner! This beautiful boy has turned my house into a home. He looks mildly annoyed and irritated when I go to work in the morning, is very excited when I come home in the afternoon and he sleeps . . . . . . . . a lot.

    I’m Homed

Hi, we were just the same, by the time we'd had our first (female) greyhound, Mia, we were completely hooked and wanted to get a companion! We fully expected to get a boy, but then we went to the kennels and fell in love with another little girl, Evi. We've had both of them together now since May and they get on really well - it's lovely to see them running and playing together, they're almost always together both at home and when we let the off the lead on walks. From our point of view having two girls has worked really well - they love each other and we love both of them to bits! Good luck with the second one 🙂

Hi... we have 2 girls (Lola & Lena) who get along just fine. We did just as Mand and Ina have said and let Lola choose her new companion. The original girl we'd had our eye on was given a most definite 'no' by Lola and when Lena was brought out to meet us, she gave her a big paws up so that was that and Lena went home with us. I wish you all the best in getting a companion for your Bonny. It really is nice to see them with a friend (or ... partner in crime!) xx
