Wizards distraught owner phoned me yesterday. He had been playing with Wizard and unfortunately Wizard got too excited and bit his owner on the face. This is totally out of character for Wizard as we all know he is a big softy. Sadly due to his excitement of playing, it got out of hand and his owner feels he can't trust him any more. I offered advice and also said that the advice of an experienced dog trainer was available but unfortunately he has been returned today.

Sadly the training sessions were not taken up. A harness was lent only a couple of days ago and advice about diet and training were not followed by his owner. This is something that sometimes needs a bit of time and patience and unfortunately his owner feels she cannot give him this.

totally agree with your comments tash, i too have a busy life with 3 chidren, 1 grandson and a very busy and demanding job as a district nurse, but nothing gives me more pleasure than taking ellie out and enjoying my time to be me! Ellie gives back as much love as we as a family give to her. Hope you find your forever home soon tippie.xxx

My little floppy is such a good boy and climbed into the car today for the first time :o) good boy!! Charlie seems to be loving the company until it comes to sharing his mummy and even that is getting better! We feel so lucky to have two gorgeous boys xxx

Poor Tippie, she deserves a home that will love and take care of her forever, even through the tough times. I can understand the demands of having to juggle dogs, children and life (!) I can even sort of understand the decision to rehome because of a new baby...but not to take care of an animal that needs you is heartbreaking...I've 2 children, 3 dogs and a busy job, BUT, their needs come before mine. Thankgoodness she is with the wonderful Alison and has Ruth and the Daybreaks team caring for her now, I hope she finds her forever home soon xxxx

What a shame Connor, our Dreamer(all 24kgs of her) used to pull me (a little more than 34kgs) on our walks. We mentioned it to Ruth and she kindly lent us a harness to try-we never looked back. Now both Dreams & Tom are walked with harnesses, and they are both much better in them. It gives us much more control if they do pull, even though as soon as Dreamer started to wear one she stopped pulling.

I was sadly appalled and shed a few tears at the state Tippy was returned in. Alison kindly offered to take her for the next few days until I can get her to the vets. Big hugs little one.....

Is Rosie going on trial with handsome Jet who goes to saturday training? If so I hope she settles as she will have a lovely family and if it is this Jet I am hopeful he will like to live with another lady Grey.Keeping everything crossed.

Poor beautiful connor! This is an issue easily resolved :o( my charlie pulled badly at first and now walks lovely... He has even managed to calm floppy down on the lead. So so sad xxx
