    I’m Homed

Just returned Connie back to kennels after a lovely long walk in the bluebell woods with the saturday training class. Connie walks well on the lead is very responsive to instructions. She has enjoyed her morning out,she was very friendly towards dogs and humans alike wagging her tail and enjoying all the fuss and attention. She gave a little bark when we came accross a collie(very well behaved one) but was easily distracted and moved on very quickly with no fuss or bother..I am sure she will be a delight to train. She really enjoyed being out and about was very keen to explore her surroundings and she is rather partial to the liver crunch which is on sale at the kennels.! She got in the car straight away and laid down travelling beautifully to and from the walk. She is such a character and everyone remarked how cute her tiny ears are. I hope someone will spot her this weekend as she is so playful and has enjoyed being out and about. It would be great if she could be reserved before her sister leaves the kennels. Deb and Millie XX

Thank you so much for giving one of mindys offspring a home. She is certainly a lady to admire - she is as tough as old boots. I hope Melissa gives you as much pleasure as Matey did - every greyhound has its own personality and I am sure she she will help you cope with your sad loss.

Floppy has gone out on trial with Charlie (Glynn) tonight with one of our volunteers Fiona. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well...... Deb - as Floppy is not available to go on the walk tomorrow, do you fancy taking our next longest stayer who is Connie instead? x

  • Rosie

    I’m Homed

Rosie continues to stay at my home as she was so sad at the kennels. If anyone is considering a greyhound and would be interested in meeting Rosie, please let Daybreaks know so that I can try to get her there when you visit. She has had a lovely walk today accross the fields and a paddle in the stream. She was reluctant to try it but once in she loved it and didn't want to come out! She is getting on well with other dogs now. Clean and settled in the house, she is a really lovely dog. We are joining Julie's training class for lunch tomorrow and will be at Earlswood on Sunday morning if anyone wants a cuddle of this beautiful girl.
