Oh Ruth I am so sorry that it was not better news. Iris has been so much in my thoughts. I know that you will give her the best time possible. This is so tough that you have to say goodbye far too soon to such a little poppet. Please give her a big cuddle from me. Linda x

Sadly we are going to have to let Iris go. The results have shown that the lump is most likely a thyroid cancer and the vet has said in view of the rapid rate that the lump appeared and the location of the lump, surgery really is not an option. We are going to give her the best week ever with lots of walks to different places, lots of treats and lots of cuddles before we let her run free.

    I’m Homed

I had the pleasure of walking with Flash this morning. After an eager start, Flash walked very nicely by my side. On our return leg, we passed by a young Beagle and took the opportunity to make his acquaintance. After initial enthusiasm on both sides, Flash decided that he was not particularly interested and pulled back, disinterested. I think Flash is going to be fine with other breeds.

    I’m Homed

Ohhhh Penny - what can I say?! At the kennels she is such a monkey! Growling at the other greys, barking, leaping around...... at ours - the exact opposite - great with all of ours and never muzzled now - doesn't bark, might get excited when we are preparing her dinner but spends all her time on her fav chair asleep! She is beautiful and hope someone can see through her naughtiness when she is at Daybreaks! She would be a permanent fixture at ours if we had room - I love her very much and hope someone will too very soon.

Jack hope you are rehomed soon,I have read some of the previous comments and feel that with time ,patience and commitment you will be a fantastic addition to anyone family. All greys can have the odd forgetful moment and can overcome this ,we found that obtaining a citrus (lemon works best) air freshner, nearby to the favoured toilet spot obviously dont leave for the dog to lick could harm if consumed. The dog avoids that spot .also let the dog know and praise him when he goes outside.I am sure your forever home will be found very soon.
