Barney was a very happy boy when he came to the kennels for a visit today. He is enjoying his stay with Erik and his family. 🙂 He is certainly getting out and about, Erik sent photos of him having a tour of Birmingham city centre. :)) Hoping a forever home will soon be his. Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

A day of mixed emotions today....it was great to see Shane go home and little Elle reserved but very sad to see Jenny and Trudie returned. Xxx It is a difficult time for many people. Sometimes decisions are made that seem a good idea and the right thing to do but then turn out not as expected. Hoping Jenny and Trudie will soon find new homes. Xxx Thanks so much to everyone for their help today. So grateful to Kate and Jan for feeding all the residents this afternoon. Xxx Kate Xxx

It was great to see Sid go home today. :)) He couldn't get into the car quick enough! Jumped in and sat down. He is more than ready to start his life in his forever home. Wishing him a very happy new life. Love his new name! Xxx

Samson

I made my apology to Samson this morning for missing his birthday, and gave him a special breakfast - he seemed quite ok with it!! I can't understand why this gorgeous boy has been overlooked for so long. Yes he is a big, black boy who is a little bit keen on his lead to start with - but I feel that is because he is so excited to get out of his kennel for a change of scene. He is quiet, and his kennel is always clean in the morning, and he is always happy to see you - and to see his breakfast!! Really hope this sweetheart's turn comes along very soon. xxx
