Over the Rainbow Bridge
So relieved to see Cherry with a reserved tag, we met her on Friday and I just love this girl - so happy, she'll be eager to please too 🙂 fingers crossed for her new owners and their cat test!

We popped into the kennels yesterday with some fish for the dogs, and fell head over heels in love with Becky and Cherry - both lovely lovely girls. Becky is so chilled out, and is the softest greyhound I've ever touched! We constantly waver between 'should we go for 2 or not' as we already have quite a cheeky boy at home whom we adopted from rgt last Jan. Becky is beautiful and melted me, as did Cherry - I hope they find homes soon or I may be in trouble 🙂

Perdi (Nicky)

Poor Perdi, today has been a bit nerve-wracking for her, but she's been lying with Paddy, on his bed, since we got home...long doggy legs entwined...sweet! Her personality is now properly showing; she's a bit more grumpy with other dogs than Paddy and if there's ever a cross word between the two of them, it seems to be Perdi...but she genuinely loves Paddy really and spends most of her (non-sleeping)time standing neatly under his tummy, just like the picture! Mr Darcy gave her a kiss right on her nose tonight, much to her (and our) surprise! x

Paddy (James)

Paddy's been to the vets today, both dogs had their jabs (Perdi squeeled but Paddy didn't seem to notice), and Paddy is going to need a dental. Vet was lovely with them; Paddy will need a course of anti-biotics first and then the dental, so the vet has recommended we let the vaccination settle and do his teeth in January. His teeth don't seem to cause him pain, so that seems ok. Paddy has really started to settle, he's got a bit of bounce and loves a cuddle. He's been really good with Mr Darcy and is well behaved with Perdi, a real gentleman 🙂 x

Thanks Emma my 7 year old has wanted a dog for years called Sprout She even has a terrier pup soft toy called Sprout She's coming to see him tomorrow 🙂 HI Laura looking forward to meeting you n Rox, its thanks to Craig I found Perry Barr Retired Greyhound Trust!! Hi all, just wanted to update you on Molls, Ellie (our 7 year old daughter) is totally in love with her and had the shock of her life when she got home from school and found we had another grey! We left Pip and Molly at home and we came back to no problems or accidents so we were truly chuffed that they seem to have clicked 🙂 Dinner was interesting, Pip couldn't wait to finish and start on hers, but soon got him out the way! So far so good with the two of them, they were great walking when we got home and they seem to be golden together (fingers crossed it continues)! Thanks so much for showing us Moll, as we really didn't consider her but really can't believe that she is left at the kennels - she is totally gorgeous!! See you all the the open day tomorrow xx
