Oh Dear, it's so sad that you had to return Ringo (Mars Bar), it sounds like you really loved him. You are absolutely right that it is a mental challenge to take on a new dog, it occupies all your thoughts, it's a new thing to juggle and they take time to settle. I'm sure he'll find a new home quickly, he's a gorgeous boy (Markings like our Perdi, and if we hadn't agreed to stop at two he's be coming to us and being Pongo!) xx

Hi Lisag, so sorry to hear you had to return Ringo. I do hope one day you will feel able to try again as you know from your short time with Ringo just how lovely greyhounds are. At least you know Ruth and all at Daybreaks will make sure he will find a good home. Kind regards Kate x

I think her name should be Berry. She is Black and lover of Pie.

I wanted to explain why I brought Ringo back so potential new owners can see that it was not his fault. I am devastated and loved him so much. I have been very ill this year and have found it so hard to deal with a small child, cat and Ringo. I thought about it a lot before hand and believed I could cope, but once reality hit I realised I couldn't. Like all new greys they do take a certian commitment and time to adjust, guidance from the family and I really really tried, and so did he. He is one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever met, sweet, clean, quiet (most of the time) and so eager to please. He has come back through no fault of his own it was my fault, I wasn't ready yet mentally for the challenges. I can't express enough how lucky the new owners will be to have such a sweetheart in their lives and Ive cried buckets today over bringing him back. Good luck sweet boy, you so deserve it. I miss you xxx
