Craig
I’m Homed
Hello I have given Craig a cuddle today as I really hope he is rehomed with you Liddy. From what I have read looks like Craig is a bit keen on other breeds. I just wanted to say that our James who we have had now for a year and a half didnt like other dogs either unless it is a greyhound. At first it was very difficult as he used to make a shrieking noise which seemed to echo everywhere. We found over time that this stopped with the help of having a harness around him so he couldn't jump up and we found that stopping with him on the walk until the other dog passed helped a lot. At first we thought he would never get better but over time we are glad we persevered as he is such a loving dog. We are always happy to share our experience as to how we got over the problems, it is worth it in the end. Good luck Alison, Richard, Rose, James and Tom

Ah, how lovely, she sounds like great fun! Wish I could fit her in here - she and Sadie would have great fun chasing each other over the furniture (I'm sure Sadie is part greyhound, part mountain goat!) Keep up the good work! xxx

If only we hadn't agreed to stop at 2! Becky is such a lovely soft girl, I was blow-away by her when we visited the other day. Look at her muscles too, strong with a soft exterior 😉 good luck Becky, you will be homed before you know it x

Perdi and Paddy are off to the vets on Friday for boosters and teeth-checks...lots of chewy sticks have improved Paddy's gnashers so fingers crossed x no further cat-chasing incidents (touch wood), so all is well in the Powell household 🙂 x

Hi Fi, Kelly is doing really well.... she is just like having another Foxy in the house - a bundle of fun but better behaved! She falls asleep in an instant if you stroke her tummy and is getting on really well with all of ours. One wee on the kitchen floor so far but she is forgiven! We have found the only time she gets distressed is when we undo the velcro strap on her coat. I tried today with a coat that ties around her and she didn't panic so much when we took it off.... we are making steps!

Ah Reuben, so few races! Clearly you just want a lazy life, and who could blame you! You were racing in Galway when me and Craig were just down the road getting married. 🙂 Such a cutie, will come for cuddles if you're not snapped up into a new home soon. xx

Maisie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi everyone. Just an update to say that Maisie has finished her course of antibiotics and the burst swelling on her face has healed over & the scab is almost ready to drop off. The swelling of her face & gums seems to have gone down and all seems well again . . . phew . . . looks like it was just an abscess after all! Not so certain she is keen on the cold, snowy weather - bit like Bambi on ice with her dodgy back legs - but it is probably the warmest she has ever been with all her woolies on and a snuggly warm bedroom with her 3 sisters at bedtime. This is the life!!!!

Hi Lulus new family, I luv to c greys that grin. My Charlie, lurcher cross has a habit of growling wen bein stroked n in al sorts of other situations, but he doesn't mean anything by it. However people who giv him fuss in the street do get abit weirded out by it. I hav t let them kno he's actually enjoying it or he wudnt be leaning on them while he's doin it. He's also very vocal n barks at em wen they stop. It's just crazy. Thank Ruth made me hav him b4 the dog warden picked him up cus if he'd gone to the dogs home he wud of definatly been put t sleep. Aint dogs great. Gud luck with lulu, she's lovely. X Sara.

Ha ha this sooooo made me laugh....would have loved to see it!!! My Miles barks and roos when he sees me pull up in the truck then jumps like a kangaroo when I go in, while little Millie Mischief runs around and grabs things in her mouth, pulling at any cushions or covers with excitement...not damaging anything though (except a fish tank etc etc but that's another story) x

Craig
I’m Homed
During our walk last night we encountered a small dog and Craig was definitely not happy. Glad that my daughter held on to him and I had the other two. Hopefully with time and lots of TLC he will get better. He couldn't wait this morning for us to come down stairs so he decided to come up - which is not allowed but it was quite funny watching my daughter trying to get him downstairs when all he wanted to do was snoop around upstairs. The three of them are still getting on well and last night Dill curled up on the two seat sofa and Lyonell and Craig shared the three seater. Good job we were going to bed cos there was no where for us to sit - lol
