Thanks Linda, Paul and Lola! Hopefully we'll see you again soon. Roxy also had a trip to the vets on Monday and had one metal strip removed from her leg as apparently it was restricting her movement and was the reason she wasn't fully flexing her leg. Last night she was very grumpy and felt very sorry for herself but seems chirpier today. Hopefully her hair grows back on her leg again soon! Xx

Just looking back at all the lovely comments about our Suzy Bluebell, as she is called now (mainly Suzy). It is hard(ish) at first because to the greyhound, living in a home is so strange as all they have been used to is a kennel. You were all so right. She is sooo very friendly, such a beautiful dog and we, and all our friends and family love her so much. Dare I say, have we had the best dog in the world??? I am sure lots of you would disagree? Hi Lauramc. It was nice to meet you and Roxy at the show on Sunday having looked at her photo with our girlie on so many occasions . Roxy is such a brave little girl and she looks like she just gets on with life despite her injury. She is quite a gal and we really hope she continues to go from strength to strength in her recovery. Lots of Love from Linda, Paul & Lola x

Thank you all so much for your thoughts. It really is like joining a big warm family when you rehome a grey from Daybreaks. Apart from that she looks a bit patchwork now with her hair clipped off in places Lola is far better tonight than we thought she would be. She is a bit sore in places - you can just see she moves and then thinks ... ouch...maybe not...but she has been for a walk as normal, barked at a cat and ate her dinner with the antibiotics in! I've stopped replaying the incident in my head now thank goodness but think I will be more wary when I take her out on my own which is about 3 mornings in a week. Paul is such a calm person and is much better at taking things in his stride. Tomorrow is just me & Lola so I will take a big deep breath & think happy thoughts as we head out the door......Wishing all of you and your beautiful boys & girls lots of love & hugs Linda, Paul & Lola xx

oh Lass, wishing you a speedy recovery, no doubt you will be receiving lots of loves and extra treats from your mommy and daddy. Get well soon and don't let that nasty dog put you off other breeds xxxxx

so sorry to hear your unreserved, we had a soft spot for you the first time we saw you and was relieved when a home came along because we only have a small house in which there are already two fuss demanding greys, a neurotic budgie and a hyperactive 5 year old child. Now we are going to be thinking about you again, hope you find a forever home soon otherwise we could end up having even less room at home. hugs and kisses from Wend, Steve, Warren, Gracie and Blaze ( not forgetting neurotic budgie) xxxx

Big hugs from Roxy! Was so lovely to meet you at the show and Lola was lovely, you can see how much she's grown into a beautiful pet from when she was at the kennels. I'm sure she'll be back to her normal self soon. You were so brave and hope you're both ok with all the drama. Much love. Xx
