all our love to you and especially Lola, poor little love what an awful fright for her. thank goodness you managed to get the big dog away before he did too much damage and hopefully she will get over the shock of being attacked by another breed. big hugs from Ina and Rossi Toby and MacKenzie. xxx

Unfortunately Queenie was not brilliant with the 14 yr old crossbreed that she was goin 2 share her new home with. Tiny however was excellent they got on really well & so she's gone home with them 2 c if she's able 2 get on with the other new housemates, 3 cats. All fingers crossed cus its the perfect home 4 her. Hopefully Queenie will b reserved again soon. She's a great girl.

Hi LadyVictoria. I promise she was a lot better behaved yesterday when I saw her at Ruth's, even taking herself outside for a wee (long may that continue!!!) Bringing her home to us on Friday - can't believe how much I'm buying for her. After being outnumbered at home with Stefano and Gent, it's nothing but pink, pink and more pink for my little girl! Mand x

So sorry to hear that and hope Lola makes a swift recovery. I met you yesterday was standing next to you with Molly when Lola won her rosette. We meet a Dogue de Bordeaux most mornings on our walk and both my dogs are scarred of him. Big hugs Lola xx

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I will tell Lola she has had some lovely messages. Her daddy is at home with her this afternoon as I was with her this morning. She has some big pills to take starting this evening so it will be sardines twice a day until they are all gone! x

Lola's day started well with a 3rd in the Prettiest Bitch class I was so proud of her! Unfortunately the day ended on not such a good note as my sweet gentle girl was attached last night while we were out walking and we ended up at the vets. She was on lead and ironically we were only round the corner from home and a Dogue de Bordeaux flew off a house drive and attacked. It could have been a lot worse but she has a bite on her bottom and another puncture wound on her right hind leg just below the hock, plus some other scratches on the inside of her back legs where this mastiff grabbed round her back end with his claws as well as his jaws. Luckily Paul was there to physically haul the dog off Lola. She is on antibiotics and had a bit of a slow start this morning. Vet thought she might show lame today but she just looks a bit stiff/sore. She has always been so good with all other dogs and we are keeping everything crossed that this experience won't change that. Culprit's owner mortified btw and has paid our vet bill. It's a rescue dog and I know she is careful with it when out on lead as we see them walking in the mornings. I can only hope owner has learned from this mistake and this dog isn't left loose like that again. It was terrifying for all of us. Love from Linda & Lola x

Hiya, thanks for asking me, my beautiful boy is well settled. He rolled on his back for a tummy rub 2 nights ago - what trust!! He is so brilliant, I'm so in love.....We have been to training and it's going well. He is now confident enough to start thieving toys n bits n bobs to his bed-LOL- (door stops are a favopurite so far). The local kids are getting to know him, he is an angel when they come to pet him, so tollerant, I can't believe my luck. He is rather excited by other dogs n small furries, but a sharp "Leave it" seems to be enough in most cases to stop silly jumping. So all in all, fantastic, can you tell I'm smitten? Hubby says no to Grey no2, but I'm working on him. See you all at the Walk on the 26th Sept. luv t

Hi Linda, Paul & Lola, Nice to meet up with you again and see how well Lola has come along, she was golden walking with Fay. Well what a washout !- I felt so sorry for the organisers today. Mind you the sun did come out after you left- when there was only about 3 events left !!. (Someone up above is having a laugh at our expense (lol)) Fay took 1st in the Best Rescue Greyhound category so we were pleased we persevered with the weather. Maybe we will see you again at the perry Barr meeting in October. Love from Mike, Owain & Fay
