It was lovely to see you earlier, you're such an affectionate little girl and kept licking my hand when I was fussing you. My Mom also got a little choked up when she saw you. I suspect you will be spoiled rotten by your Grundma! Mand x

Foxy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Ruth I don't see that Foxy having ears that are too pointy a justified reason for returning him, our Izzy ,Dylan , Cara, and Vinnie look too much like Greyhounds for my liking!!! You never warned us about this! I feel we where mislead LOL Jenny and Mark X

I am glad you are reserved right away Berry as it is so much harder for you to adjust back to kennel life again inspite of the good people looking after you at Daybreaks. Here's hoping you enjoy this next chapter of your life...for good. To the one planning to adopt Berry, thank you and hope the kind of love you are going to shower Berry with is laced with commitment. We can all love but can we truly commit come life's challenges? 😉

I've just been speaking to Berry's mum - she is absolutely devastated and still in floods of tears about returning her. Berry is a very sweet girl, and the family love her very much, as you can see from chlo's comments below. A combination of circumstances means that Berry may be more settled in another home - please don't judge too harshly without knowing all the facts. I hope you find a home very soon, lovely girl.xx

Just to keep you updated Daisy has been with us for 1 week now and she's made herself right at home, she is a true lady, gentle, kind and has a developing sense of mischief!! We can't believe how laid back she is already, all in all she's the "muts nuts".

Being an absolute poppet! Don't worry - it wasn't her who did a wee on the mat! I had to carry her back from the park where I tried to get her to do a wee before coming to ours after her op..... she did however do a big poo in the van on the way to the vets this morning and when I pulled over to clean it up, I knelt in her sick! Nice start to the day!

Foxy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
One of mine has just wee'd on the mat in the front room. As I cannot determine who it is I think I will return Foxy as his ears are too pointy, Maggie as she has too much white with her black, Basil as he leans too much, Shrew as she is a bit old and grey, Joe with his lumpy throat and Wispa because she is too perfect. Wouldn't life be quiet..... and very boring. Forget it! My family are staying - good times with bad!

Nevermind Berry, they are the wrong people for you. My greyhound Floppy according to Ruth was returned to Daybreaks 3 times before I met him. One day, serendipity (the faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident) knocked. I came to Daybreaks with hubby to buy food supply for my other greyhound Dennis. I told Ruth I was toying with the idea of getting another greyhound but not 100% determined. She showed me Floppy and not convinced I fostered him. It turned out to be the best decision of my life. Floppy had some issues with trust (could not blame him after being returned 3 times, lol). But with patience and constant reassurance, he turned out to be the sweetest dog ever (Dennis would not mind, he prouds himself as a zany character, lol). One day, Berry...a true dog's best friend will come for you. You'll see! 😉 Here's two links to a slideshow I made for Floppy and Dennis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQupjMVY4Vc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9ruVWhUWwc

Hi Ruth, don't feel disheartened, the work you do is great. She really is beautiful, what a shame. Can i ask why she was returned? Craig is bringing Roxy to the kennels tomorrow if that's ok, maybe they could meet? Xx
