Went to the kennels last week and said hello to Ralph, he is an absolutely wonderful dog, and will make a great companion for someone. Please do not be put off by him not being cat friendly as we have two that do not like cats and they are great greys.

Thanks all, as usual, for your messages of care and support. Roxy is actually doing quite well, she is back to her more cheery self and although she can get in a bit of a knot trying to stand up, she does still greet us with a tail wag when we get home. Our retired neighbour has very kindly been checking in during the day and says she's getting on ok. She is messing in the house overnight which she's never done before but I guess she's just missing her walks and the chance to do it then. More time in the garden planned and fingers crossed!!

So excited and can't wait for Friday when we bring you home! Your new granddad is busy with his paintbrush putting the finishing touches to your bedroom and your new dad has spent hours in the garden upside down under the hedge with his roll of chicken wire to stop any pesky cats coming in to annoy you. All that while your new mum is doing what she does best spending money on bits and bobs for you! See you on Friday xx

Mindy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Sylv, many thanks for the information. Sorry to hear you lost Georgie to cancer. The increased dose of Propalin has stopped Twiggy having little accidents in the night, which I am sure must make her feel better. Fortunately she will eat anything and doesn't notice the added Propalin in her food! I am hoping we can reduce the dose a little over a period of time. I hope Mindy gets on well at the vet's today. Kate x

i saw Roxy's dad today before he went and collected the little lady from the vets and he was so worried about her. i do hope that she will recover from the trauma soon and that all will heal well. i know it's not much consolation for you both at the moment but greyhounds are remarkably resiliant and generally manage to get well quite easily as they are willing to lie and rest being quite lazy by nature which is not always the case with other breeds (having owned collie/springers most of my life). i keep my fingers crossed for you all and send you my love and a big but gentle hug for Roxy. much love from Ina and her boys xxx
