Oh what a sweetie, with his colour I'm sure he wont be there too long, even if he's a little older than the others.

i can understand this as my McKenzie's barking and lunging at other breeds has made my Toby a complete nuisance with them as well now, Toby used to be fab with them but now he has become the instigator more times than not. it can be very hard work when you have several very different temperaments of dogs together and its not for everyone to be able to deal with that. at least it happend sooner rather than later and i am very sure that this fantastic hound will find his own home before too long. big hug to a gorgeous boy!!! xxxx

Tut, tut, naughty Rom. Branston (Rocky) done that with us, lunged at a Westie, Pickle was no better either at first, quite frightening at the time, but they soon learn not to with a firm 'No' and a 'glare'! Must keep that Muzzle on till you can trust them not to. They're fine now, but can still have their off days, just have to be alert, just in case. Neva mind, next time perhaps......x.

Ralph has gone out on trial today. Unfortunately he lunged at a small fluffy dog and the owner feels he cannot cope with him doing this as his existing grey is very very good and calm, off the lead and great with other breeds. I am quite understanding of this (our 2nd grey was a nightmare to start with) and I know with time and patience Ralph will be a superstar with small fluffies. However, this home is not meant to be. He is therefore coming back tomorrow - Cassie will be pleased - she was crying after he went. Oh well - he had a few hours of excitment away from the kennels..... better luck next time special boy x
