Loved the new picture with the lumpy neck! I am glad that I am not the only one wondering how Joe is doing, he certainly has a good fan club. Thank you Ruth for the continuing TLC and all at the kennels for making such a fuss of Joe

    I’m Homed

We've had Jack 2 weeks now and it is lovely seeing him develop into a house dog. His confidence has grown and he is learning the house rules, though he is a bit of a thief, not just food, I found him cuddling my jumper the other day on his bed! We have had no accidents, which is amazing, and he loves going for walks, though I think he's a bit miffed that he can't run free with Buddy and Charlie! His tail is healing (fingers crossed) and he just wags it all the time, a very happy Jack! I worried that 3 dogs would be difficult, but we and they have just adjusted to an extra one, all good fun! Hopefully see you soon xxxx

Well its official - he and Daisy have taken over the whole house! The cat is resigned to them being here and now sleeps on their beds with them. Can't imagine life without them now, but have to stop talking about them all the time because once I start everyone gets a "glazed" look come over them and my daughter says I am becoming obsessed. ( I think this is probably because when someone asked me how the babies were I started talking about the dogs and they were referring to my grandchildren .-Whoops!!!!)

Lucy is on the mend! She slept downstairs last night and the bleeding is very little now. Her face is starting to go down and she is coping very well with her lampshade collar! She is totally toilet trained now and will make someone a fabulous pet hopefully soon. We just have to wait for the histology results which, fingers crossed, will be ok.

  • Pippa (Pepper)

    I’m Homed

My eldest daughter Abby fell in love with Pepper today (cue lots of "oh pleeeease's...!") and she is a sweetie, but there just isn't anymore room or money for a 4th grey! Somebody is certainly going to be very lucky and privileged to have this gorgeous happy girl as part of their family. Abby spent ages with her and Pepper cried when we had to go, it broke our hearts! BTW, our little Sadie does the head shake and tongue-sticking-out-the-side-of-her-mouth thing too and it does make her look adorable, if not a bit looney! Em x

Thankyou Pam for putting my mind at rest today. I've just enjoyed seeing Jack blossom from a shy dog into a loving, playful little boy, that I've let the rough play carry on. I'll be firmer with both of them, thankyou xxxx
