Hi Lizzy, I have a rabbit and 5 greyhounds! they have shown no interest in her at all even when she is in her run in the garden.

oh no, this is awful, when logging in i was expected to be greeted by news of a recovery and interest in her, unfortunately not. how heartbreaking for lucy, the only positive thing i can think of out of this situation is she has spent and will be spending the last few weeks of her life in the best possible home with the best possible people. I know she will be spoilt rotten. Not a very good couple of months for the kennels with little annie and poor lucy but its the hard times like these that make us stronger. So sorry Ruth and Robbie. xxx

Hi Lizzy, rabbits and greyhounds always make a great combination!!!!! Seriously though, if your rabbit is in a secure enclosure it should remain safe. You can train them to get used to them being around. My friend who has guinea pigs looked after Shrew one of my greys for a week last year. The first few days she took to leaping on top of the run that held them but by the end of the week, although they were still intriguing, she wasn't going mental trying to get to them!

First Joe and now Lucy, Ruth, not only don't these beautiful dogs deserve to be sick, but you don't deserve to have the worry and upset with them. If I was a greyhound and was poorly I know who I'd like to give me tlc you. Words seem useless but thank you for all you are doing for these two poorly dogs. You deserve a medal

Mom had panic stations on Monday morning Darcy (Ruby) wouldnt get up in the morning off her bed, no amount of asking , treats or CHEESE would do it. Has anyone ever had a grey that wont get up in the mornings!!!!! Mom thought something was serouisly wrong with her , as she was only speyed 5 days before, and phoned Jill. Once Jill had arrived and Jill and mom had a chat, Jill went up the stairs and with that Darcy appeared at the top as if nothing was wrong!! The little tinker!!! Jill checked her all over but she seemed to be fine, Darcy is a little off her breakfast but eats her main meal fine. Oh well Darcy must be like the rest of us when it comes to mornings, and would rather stay in BED!!!!

Oh no! That's such awful news. We've been following her story and it's heartbreaking to hear the news. She's a stunning girl and seems lovely, I was even trying to persuade my Dad to get her before this all happened. I'm so sorry to hear this and I'm actually in tears, but she has the best possible treatment with you Ruth and you're truly amazing to go through such emotional torment. xx

she looks so gorgeous in her lovely coat and i am sure she is really happy to get all the love and fuss she has never had before. in her case maybe it's quality time and not quantity but i still think life is very cruel at times. all our love Ina and boyz xxx

So sorry to read the very sad news about Lucy. We met Lucy a few weeks ago, and she is lovely. I really don't know what else to say to you at this difficult time. I've just read the sad news about Lucy, life is so unfair. Just as she was going to enjoy her well earned retirement as well.At least she couldn't be in a better place than with Ruth, she'll have all the love in the world until the sad day arrives. God bless you, Lucy & Ruth.xxx Val,Peg & Max.
