Fay (Gloria)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Fay has been with us for five months. She walks on a lead beautifully and enjoys a good stroll around the local area twice a day. She has a play in the garden, this is the only time that we hear her bark and she loves it if you play with her. She tries to get the cat to play with her but the cat sits there looking at her bemused. Fay loves to say hello to each of us when we come home including the cat. The cat often walks around with her fur sticking up where Fay has walked past and gave the cat a quick lick. Both of them get on well and will often share Fays bed although sleeping at opposite ends. Having Fay with us is brilliant. When she is flaked out on her bed fast asleep she looks so peaceful. When you play with her in the garden she looks happy and full of life. When she says hello she smiles at you and wags her tail and you cannot help but smile and fuss her to show how pleased you are that she is there. We worked hard to get to know her and her ways and she is learning our ways as well but the effort is worth it.

She is doing ok. I dropped back at the kennels this morning with double fleeces on to keep her extra cosy as Sindy is post op at ours tonight. She was brave this morning and came for a quick cuddle before running back to her bed!

Joy I have looked at greyhound data and you will certainly make someone happy a honcho you may be a little bouncy girl but you will have a wonderful happy nature.please give this girl a nice long walk and her character will shine through. Just because shes been in the kennel a while should not put anyone off, she needs a nice pigs ear and a few sausages.

We didn't know we had got her last night - not a sound! She toileted outside this morning and I will be taking her in a moment to the vets. She is really settled but nervous if you are too close to her for too long.

This beautiful little girl is at our house tonight.... She is booked to have her spey tomorrow and as she is so nervous I thought it would help her to get used to our house so when she comes to ours for her post op recovery tomorrow afternoon - she may recognise us and her safe haven. She has just scoffed a few sausages but she has spent most of the night in the cage in the front room (door is open for her to come and go) as she feels safe in there. She has been fine with all of my gang but Joe decided to keep her company all evening (and think he is confused as he likes the cage) but has slept by her all evening. Nite nite sweetie - you are gorgeous and safe so don't worry xxx

May
I’m Homed
hello May's family, i am reading her progress with interest as i was so very shaken and shocked by her condition when she came in and so taken by her gentleness and her trust in people despite obvious neglect. it's wonderful to read that she is settling in so well and that she is obviously loved and pampered and i am sure that with all that love and care she will flourish and be the beautiful girl that she should be. with love from Ina xxx
