We did go straight to the kennels after the walk at Arrow Valley to see Christian. He seemed to take to us and Lizzie straightaway and so we decided to take him , and Ruth let us take him home with us on that afternoon. He seems to have settled in quite well and he loves his food ! He is no longer called Christian, we have named him Joe. Hope to see everyone on the next walk.

I still keep thinking about Harry. He is adorable. We couldn't walk him yesterday after his op. How is he today, and how is he on the lead ?

Ooh, it's not her name that's putting me off (I've already compiled a VERY long list of possible names, how sad is that!). Think I'm going to talk to my boss today, to see how he'd feel about having a second grey in the office (to go with the labrador, pointer, french bulldog and other miscellaneous dogs, not to mention cats) that come in regularly. Part of me hopes he says NO, then I won't be able to have another grey. How big is Rugrat - her greyhound data profile says she's 30Kg, so I'm guessing she's big(ish) - that doesn't matter, I'm just curious!

  • Kenzie

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

my gorgeous boy is making me so proud, he met several different breeds of dogs today and said hello ever so nicely to them, gentle giant that he is. he also met my neighbours 6 months old baby the other day and despite him being such a very big boy and so strong he was so gentle with little Ted, really touching to see...put his younger brother Rossi to shame who was far too excited about the little one to be gentle and had to be taken out of the room altogether, bless him. Kenzie is really doing well and in the 3 weeks he has lived with us he has come a long way and settled in brilliantly, it's like he has always lived here and i simply can't imagine life without my gentle boy who gives me the biggest fuss and kisses when he sees me.
