Matt is a gorgeous looking boy and i don't understand why he has not been chosen- surely it's not because he has had an injury? please believe me that it does not stop a greyhound being a wonderful companion, my Toby walks with a bad limp because of an untreated broken leg and Toby walks quite happily alongside his 'able-bodied' brothers and when he is in full flight you would never even notice, in every other way he is as perfect as any hound out there.please do consider giving this beautiful brave boy a loving home in time for christmas. xxx

this boy is such a lovely hound, please someone out there go up to him and spend some time with him and find out for yourself, he deserves a home of his own and he will be a wonderful dog to own,in case you are put off by his non existent tail - a greyhound can get by quite well without a tail, my own Rossi will happily tell you so!!! xxx

Robbie is such a happy friendly boy, so why is he still with us? is it because he is yet another black greyhound? as the very proud and besotted owner of 3 balck boys myself i can highly recommend the 'boys in black' and he is a very fine specimen indeed. xxx

why is young Jack still with us? he is a beautiful boy with lovely manners and he will make someone a wonderful companion.surely somebody out there will see the love in this boys eyes and want to give him a home to settle into. xxx

Does anyone know how Berry and her new family are doing. I walked Gent with them the day they reserved her. She seemed such a mature young lady considering her tender years and looked like she bonded straight away with their son. I'd love to know how they're all getting on. Mand x

Just noticed that Jack has the same grandfather(Head Honcho) as my blue boy. Jack is very loving and is quite good on the lead, having a kennel mate has really changed him. He was very nervous when he first arrived but it seems he likes the company. When you see those big brown eyes you can't help but fall in love with him. I hope that he finds a forever home soon. I think he is adorable so any one out ther looking for a grey then please give Jack a chance and if you go to the kennels give him a big hug. love Alison

Update from Terry's house. Terry is now behaving himself in the "crossed leg" department. We went on line and read a load of information about greyhounds (both on this site and elsewhere) and went back to basics. He goes out last thing with me for his "settle down and sleep" routine... this started off with me standing around in the garden with him for 30 minutes at a time until he got it... then praising him like mad for being a good boy. Over the last week or so, this has improved so that we're out there about 5 minutes... which is brilliant. I was a little worried about giving him calming tablets - but I think I might consider them around New Year - just so he's not so very scared when it all goes bang again! Thanks for your support... as always, you guys are so lovely. H, B, J, L & Terry XXXXX
