RIP Sarah 'scarebear' I was gutted to receive Jo's call on Good Friday with the very sad news that her lovely girl had lost her battle. It never gets any easier and with such a short period of time after losing Willow I know she is devastated. When Sarah came to the end of the road and the sun had set for her, she wanted no rites in a gloom filled vetinary room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss her a little, but not too long and not with your head bowed low for hold it high and remember the love you once shared for that will always be. Miss her but let her go for hers is a journey that must be taken alone. It is all a part of a bigger plan, a step on the road home but first she must go to Rainbow Bridge where she will be healed and feel happy and free to play amongst the fields filled with lots of colour and nice smelling flowers, where she will rejoin lost friends who also wait patiently and one day in the years to come her ears will stand up, her nose will twitch and when she sees you have arrived you will be able to all go on the last stage of the journey to eternal peace. Belle

Belle is still looking for her forever home. Her foster family say she is such a good girl. Walks well and gets on with other dogs. She is no trouble at all. If you are looking for a very pretty young lady to join your family please give us a call and we can arrange a meeting with her. :)) Xxx

It was brilliant to see Jack and Sanka reserved today. 🙂 Jack will have a beautiful Greyhound sister and Sanka an adorable Rottweiler sister. :)) It was a sunny but chilly day, thanks so much to everyone who came in to help. The lads got nice long walks and lots of grooming! Xxx Rosie popped in with Barney, he is doing so well! Xxx Xxx

Ritchie

Ritchie had a good first afternoon and night with us. He spent most of yesterday afternoon in the garden and spent the night in his crate in our room. He slept well and was raring to go this morning. We had a lovely 5 mile walk around Kingsbury Water Park this morning and saw lots of other breeds. He gets a bit vocal when walking behind them, but settles as soon as you have passed them. I think he maybe sees it as a race that he has to win?!? He has had a good snooze this afternoon and just enjoyed another two mile walk. He really loves getting out and about. He's currently waiting for his tea to be served and cannot wait. He loves his food and all the attention he can get. He prefers being with us and mastered our stairs without hesitation. Lovely boy xx

Alex loves going for a walk. He is strong on the lead but I think he could be ok with a harness. He definitely is easier on the way back to the kennels. He enjoyed being groomed but wasn't quite so keen on having his teeth cleaned. He is a friendly happy boy xxxxx
