Sadie (Shiran)
I’m Homed
My mother tried but was unable to cope with shiran last week. I dont think she thought it through enough, but I have to tell anyone considering shiran that she is a beautiful girl who in a short week learned her new name (Kia), how to be nice to my yorkie, two rabbits, two cats, and two kids. For someone able to help her with a slight seperation/excitement bladder issue she will be the perfect addition to any family. If the rules had allowed I would have kept her myself.

Oh poor thing, Pam told me what a complete poppet shiran is, I'm sure she'll find a forever home very soon, especially being such a little dot. I really should stop looking at this website, I'd love to adopt them all (but not 100% sure what Willow would think of that!) Good luck Shiran, hang on in there - the right home for you is out there!

Frank was neutered yesterday and the poor boy had 26 teeth removed. He spent the night at ours and was very good. He toileted outside and he loves being cuddled. He met a German Shepherd at the vets before his op and 2 Westies over the park and he was great with them.

George
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I visited Banners Gate at Sutton Park on Sunday and would like to say although I arrived very late every one made me and George very welcome. It was good to pick up helpful tips and see George so relaxed with other greyhounds and teir owners. I will try and take him to some other meetings. George continues to be a whimp around people he does n0t know but is improving with those who visit the farm on a regular basis. I still have a lot to learn and would not dare write about some of the incidents I have had since he came to the farm. He is my best friend and cries when I return home after even a short time away. The living room door is loosing its varnish becouse he jumps up it to greet mee when he hears me comming down the stairs in the morning. I am continuing to get up when my husband milks the cows in the morning to take him for a walk on his own. Therfore I feel fitter. Who needs regular airobics when they have a greyhound. He just loves his twice a day walks and knows by my change of foot wear that he is in with a good chance of a walk accross the fields. Good to see you on Sunday Good Luck with homing Pearl

Poor Perarl I keep seeing her face on the web site and feel so sorry that she still does not have a home to go to. I visited Banners Gate at Sutton Park on Sunday with George who we have had for appro 8 weeks now and just had to ask why Pearl was still at the kennells. Although I arrived very late every one made us very welcome. I reall y must try and get to another of your gaterings on time.Good luck Pearl in finding the right home.

the first greyhounds i adopted came as a pair! they already knew about the washing machine and the tv, they were housetrained and are great company for each other, it would be devastating for these two to have to be split up. i know there is someone out there with room for two and as greyhounds are asleep for most of the day, you wouldnt know you'd got them! a ready made greyhound family x

my first greyhounds were adopted as a pair! they had already lived in a home so they knew what the washing machine and the tv were all about, they were house trained and knew about the comings and goings of family life. they are great company for each other too and i know they would have found it devastating to be separated. two greyhounds dont take up much more room than one, lets face it they are lying down asleep most of the day anyway! so why not adopt a little ready made greyhound family all of your own?! x

We hope Ruby and Jo Jo find a home soon. It is breaking our hearts as Ruby is still very sad to be back at the kennels but she has her sister Jo Jo to help her thro. They love cuddling up together. The sorrow in her eyes needs to be turned into happiness.....
