Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
Another very cold day today. We opened up the kennels, very strange with no dogs on site! Cats and chickens fed and then Alex arrived after his overnight stay with Rosie, followed a while later by Sam and Lee. Lee had been out on foster, we had a viewing booked so Ruth brought him in. After much deliberation it was decided that Alex was the dog to be reserved, it was a very difficult decision, the lovely couple were very torn between them both. Ruth has taken Lee home tonight (she nearly took Alex and Sam too)! Lots of sand run bookings, a donation of bedding, food collections and a lovely visit by Jetlucy with her husband and little Mia and of course the very handsome Jet. He is such a lovely boy and despite some scary health issues looks absolutely greyt. A massive thanks to them for bringing in some fantastic had knitted dog coats, they are amazing. Maisie Moo has already bagged a beautiful pink one to match her new collar, she looked very fetching. Hopefully, we have some new arrivals this week and already have bookings for the weekend. Again, please remember visits are by appointment only, we need to keep everyone safe....so as always please all stay safe and well.

Unfortunately he is not a happy bunny at night , he has a night light radio something that smells of me lots of beds , but he is still crying but now he has uped his game and he is basically trashing the place! I’m Homed
Brrrr....It was a very cold day today! Even my five layers of cloting wasn't quite enough to keep me warm..... :)) It was just Ruth and I first thing this morning. We are very grateful to Blue's owners who popped in for food and ended up taking Alex, Sam and Peaky for a walk in the snow! 🙂 Bless you. Xxx Gorgeous Frieda arrived this morning and by this afternoon she had found herself a home! Such a very sweet, happy girl. Xxx Reinforcements arrived later Shirley, Richard, Tina and Rosie, thank you so much for braving the icy weather to help out. :)) Xxx Peaky had a viewing booked for this afternoon. It was love at first sight not only for the lovely family who came to see him but for Peaky too! He stood looking up at his soon to be new Mum as she held his head gently in her hands....so sweet. I know his Trainer will be very happy to see he has found his forever home. Xxx With Peaky going home and Freida going off to meet her new Greyhound brothers and sister only Sam and Alex were left at the kennels, Soooo... Ruth took Sam home for the night and Rosie took Alex! Do hope they are both enjoying a break from the kennels. :)) They will both be back for viewings tomorrow. Xxx And finally a request....if you are visiting the kennels and have the odd finished with newspaper, we would be very grateful for them. Socks and Tike our fab cats like something to read whilst visiting the bathroom!!! :)) Well, ok they don't read them but they are great cat litter box liners!! Thanks so much. Xxx

Ice
I’m Homed
Thank you everyone for the lovely birthday wishes. Ice had a lovely day meeting new friends in his daily walks, he’s a definite attraction due to his amazing colour. Ice is becoming a total love bunny and has settled in really well. He had his ‘big op’ yesterday and is loving the attention and cuddles with everyone at home. We’re so pleased to have him and can’t wait for lots of adventures in the better weather. When we return to normality we would love to take part in volunteer days with Ice, Eric and Nev they would be excellent ambassadors for the rehoming of these wonderful hounds.
